Chanel S/S 2026 Paris

Ok it is very funny that, after all this fuss, JWA's Dior does seem to be the more compelling debut. I'll wait to make a full judgement call, but this is pretty ordinary, or at least unsurprising.

it's no longer a question of bad or good....it's a question of Chanel or not.....I mean come on!

I can't imagine saying this, but HE IS MUCH WORST THAT Virginie! At least, Karl trained Virginie well, she followed certain code of the house and commercial path, imagination and design language are what she lack of. But this? this collections is so clueless, I wonder He may just go jump off the cliff after the debut. So embarrassing to messed up at important moment......

And what's the connection between these ugly clothes with the space museum set up?
From this debut, I give him 2 years, top.
And Chanel not only should fire him, but fire the CEO as well, everything she touched is ruined so far

Hairclip dress seems like the first misstep.

I loved the set, the bags and accessories. Also some looks are very good. However, there are other that could very much be from Viard lmao. Also at some point I kept thinking “is this never gonna end?”, so some editing would’ve been nice. But still miles better than what it used to be (not that it was any good).

I really like what I’m seeing: he is reinterpreting codes of Chanel and not doing variation of Karl (which I believe was expectation some of people here). He is the same designer who was at BV so obviously some similarities, the same will be with his couture and Margiela. I think he offered versatile, feminine collection with great colour palette and with accessories which will sell. Great set, soundtrack. Well done!
