Chanel S/S 2026 Paris

The "current" Chanel customers are different from Chanel customers 5,6 years ago.
I would say that the in-store products were really diluted around 3 years ago or so...
So the people who are allergic to logos are clearly coming back.
Those people want something very precious, something i dont see here. Chanel will ask for absurd prices for these and will have the same fate as lee's burberry. hope im wrong

Hated it!! It just wasn’t Chanel!! It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve seen this fashion week but it was missing that Chanel touch!! While there glimpse here and there the rest just looked run of the mill ready to wear blahhh.. I never liked his appointment at Chanel so this solidifies my sentiments… While Virgine was boring the Chanel spirit was always there.. It will be missed!!

Raising my hands high!
My girlfriends are excited too.

I think what may attract the people who are logo obsessed is that the accessories will always carry a CC and that fashion is back on the fashion conversation again.

Because people will want to feel « IT », they will engage in this.

I feel for the 2 twins who are always at Chanel shows with logos from head to toe!

It’s chic, something that Chanel hasn’t been in quite some times.

Liked it a lot! Not perfect, some questionable choices here and there but overall it's still a yes from me! The energy and the mood were there! Awar closing the show put a huge smile on my face. I actually want to step inside the Chanel flagship again after this.

Now we need a fabulous campaign!

it was huge! it was mesmerizing! I was scared that he would have toned down the set and made it minimal, instead we had this breathtaking galaxy. the music was genius: Dawson's creek, Rhythm is a dancer, is so trash that it becomes iconic! The clothes were cool, felt luxurious, he really knows how to work with fabrics and make them precious. He is incredible with "moving skirts", from his first collection at bottega with those leather fringes, to those here. love love love. it's funny that the first three looks and especially the one on Loli looked directly from Gucci ANcora! First time in my life I like Chanel
The Dawson's music was funny as hell. I thought Michelle Williams would be there as she often wears Chanel (she wore a vintage gown to the Emmys) and was at the Lacoste show yesterday (weird choice). She would look good in this collection.

It's hilarious that I wasn't convinced at all when the firsts looks came out for the final walk but in the moment that Awar started to smile and having her moment and then Matthieu came out to take her bow... I changed my mind. I absolutely loved the energy, it felt so joyful and contagious. I applauded very loud.

It's just fabulous.

pd: I feel so sorry for JW -kidding he deserves it-.

Models looks fat-Virginie influence 💯
Lots of grey-This is not Thom Browne
Nonchalance too the max-DKNY
Colour pallete is beyond Off
Everything looks gimmicky, generic and tbh cheap
Bags and shoes are pure joke like whole 21st century

Mixed bag of goodies. There were pieces that felt exceptionally right for Chanel. Loved the cross references and how to bring into the present a la Karl. But hated those ugly hats, the camellias and the shoes. The tweeds were rather lovely as well. Can’t wait for metier d’arts!

I’m sure they are asking right now to their legal team about the “only wearing Chanel exclusively” clause in their contracts.

This is the best Penelope has looked in years. Probably the chicest the attendance has looked! Even Charlotte Casiraghi.

The great thing is that Chanel ambassadors don’t have to wear Chanel exclusively. They just can’t wear the direct competition.

I'm not going to front, by the end of the show I felt a little emotional. The beautiful set at the Grand Palais, Awar's magnetic presence closing the show and the soundtrack, especially that orchestral version of "Rhythm Is A Dancer" (the vocals were super cheese when played in the finale though) made this feel like the first proper "show" I've seen in a long time.

As a collection, yes, it has a lot of faults and some looks are indeed too reminiscent of his heavy handiness at Bottega, but I think it's a promising start. He had impossibly huge expectations to meet and I don't think he was ever going to manage to meet those. I want to see what the next few collections look like before passing judgement. So far I need to digest it all but I quite like the embroidered looks with animal motifs early on.
