Never mind the two-tone version, what about the lacy pair that cost $495! If I wore a pair of tights that cost that much, I'd expect them to start living my life for me, you know, taking me magically in certain directions, toward the shop where I'll buy a winning lottery ticket or the crossing where I'll meet my future husband.
Though, to be honest, the lottery win might need to come
before the wearing of the tights, in order to be able to buy them.
I can't see how the high street won't copy this trend, because I'm already seeing articles about it in newspaper style features, and I'd also keep an eye on
www.mytights.com which is where most of the hosiery in UK magazine editorials seems to be coming from these days, I've noticed in the credits.
I'm thinking a chain like New Look will have them for around £3, come September.
