Interview with Charlotte
What do you plan on doing today?
Well, I am probably going to finish off an english essay about a comedy by Shakespear .
Regarding your job ,where does your good movement and the charisma in front the camera come from?
Do you really think that?! To be honest, I really have no idea. I have always been interested in fashion and art, I think I bought my first “Vogue Magazine” when I was 12. So maybe by looking at all of the pictures I have learned how to pose. Oh and I have to admit that when I was younger I loved to watch Germany’s next Topmodel, maybe I learned something from this show, but thats only a guess
What was the last shooting you had and where are you off next?
The last shooting I had was with Karel Kühne for Quality Magazine. Next I will go to Berlin for Fashion Week!
Tell us the secret. How do you manage school and modeling so well?
Haha, well to be honest its difficult-but managable. My grades are good, and I have my 2 best friends email all of the work I have missed to me. Also I have a tutor who catches up with me on the things that I have missed.
And what actually makes the biz interesting for you ?
Ohh I just love the fashion industry. I like the fact that you travel alot and that you get to work with amazing people. I love art, and I am probably going to take Art Higher Level in my Diploma program next year .Its the connection between Art and Fashion which actually makes it interesting to me.
How do your parents and close friends think about modeling?
Well at the begining, when started and I began to miss class, my friends were really sceptical towards modeling. Also they had heard about all of the rumors, how the fashion industry pushes anorexic models etc. I think they changed their opinions when they saw how much fun I had and they acctually saw some pictures of me.
My parents have always supported me, they do everything they can to help me. Without them probably the modeling would not work.
You are quite a lot under debat! What do you feel reading all these compliments about your look?
Haha, I absolutly love to read those kinds of blogs. To read peoples comments about my looks was very akward at first, and I had to get used to it. Now I read some blogs about myself when I pop into them by accident. Its really funny seing what people think about my looks.
Do you think a close relationship between model and booker is necassary to become successfull?
Oh yea I think so. All my agencies support me alot and especially with the bookers of my motheragency Modelwerk I have a good relationship. They are amazing and do the best they can to push and support me. All of the bookers though are really cool and so much fun to hang out with.
It says “it takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else” What would you like to fulfill ?
Mhh, first of all I want to sucessfully graduate from School. This, right now, is one of the most important things to me. In regard to modeling…., I think that I really want to go to Berlin for Fashion week and to NY in February. That would be great
First runway experience are made . Are you nervous 5 minutes before a show? What is your personal worst case scenario?
Yes, I am always a little nervous .Also, shortly before the show starts I usually forget how long we are supposed to pose at the end, if we are supposed to pose, etc. Ugh, sometimes I totally freak out about that. However then I calm down, and tell myself that I have done much more embarrassing things than eg. falling on the catwalk. That however would be my worst case scenario probably..
One thing the world should know about you :
Mhh, difficult, what would you guys like to know about me? haha, well I love books- I read alot. Oh and I was probably the last person on earth to create an account on Facebook. At the beginning I never understood why people spent so much of their time there, but since I created an account, I absolutly love it.
