I love charm bracelets, especially if you add charms yourself to make it more personal and unique.
I just got one by Pandora, which has only three charms by now (a turtle, a frog and a cat), but I'll get new pieces soon. My second favourite bracelet has big glass beads, it's lovely.

^ I agree. My sister gave me a Cinderella charm bracelet when I was really young.

My fiance bought me a charm bracelet, sans charms, last year.
Since then, we have been going around and collecting charms of sentimental value/to commerate something special.

I confess that I do find charm bracelets a little "fussy".
But I really treasure the one that I have now...I look forward to the day when it will be full of charms. :)

i really want to start collecting charms now after reading this thread

i know me too! i've always wanted one but have not made the commitment (when i get my paychecks it usually goes to bags or shoes)!

I personally don't like it, but then I'm not a big fan of yellow gold.

I love charmbraclets, I think I may have to get a new one on my b'day and collect a new charm every b'day after that.

I'm not getting one of the expensive ones-I have a bracelet that would work, and then I go down to my favourite bead store to buy some charms. I have a mermaid and a beach chair because I love the beach, a "Movie Star" because I act, a graduation cap since I'm graduating this year, two hummingbirds since I'm a hopeless romantic...I buy the charms that represent who I am.

i love charm bracelets too... with small cute little charms... so cute... i have a few only...

Bump!

I got a new one recently, but so far it only has one charm - a little cowboy boot. It looks a bit lonely, so I'm considering getting a few more charms soon. The thing is, there is a myriad of different charms to choose from and I can't decide.. Haha. I'd really like to get either a key, the Eiffel Tower, a wishbone, a guitar or a hamsa hand.

My charm bracelet is one that was my mom's from when she was in high school. There are TONS of charms on it, and I loove wearing it. When I was in middle school there was a big craze for them and I begged her to buy me one. She instead told me to wear hers, I was mad that it was a hand me down, but now I treasure it.

That's wonderful you now treasure it.^_^ I have my mom's and I also
treasure it. I also have another one, that people buy me charms for
special occasions and I love it!

I bought the Juicy Couture starter bracelet but am yet to get charms for it. I refuse to pay 35 quid for a charm so I'll get some from ebay :D

I have always wanted a charm bracelet. I had one when I was younger that I got in Turkey but I don't know where it is now!
Which do you think is better gold or silver?

I love the Chanel and Juicy Couture charm bracelets.
I have a 'sweetie' bracelet by Links of London, which you can add charms to. I bought ballet shoes and the letter J :).

I don't know - just about everyone seems to be wearing some kind of charm bracelet at the moment and its all got rather normal and boring.
Its a clever marketing ploy by the designers/maufacturers though, as it means that they have a steady income from people coming back to buy more charms - especially if the bracelet is a 'unique' size and not interchangeable with other brands.

I prefer one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery. I don't mean to offend anyone, this is just my opinion...^_^

i love how they look and that you can actually personalize it in a way so every charm actually means something to you, but they are the most uncomfortable thing to wear on a daily basis
