I think she needs to be slimmer.... Like 'model-slim', she's voluptuous.... And her facial expression on runways isnt impressive.. I dont know, i just havent seen her on te runway looking stunning... What do u think?

neither have i..i remember her first show which was @ zero+maria cornejo right after she won...she didnt impress me at all...look it up and you'll know what i mean...she doesnt look tall and thin...and 5'8 and voluptuous doesnt look good in runway photos..you'd have to be an iman-devon-aoki-katemoss (read "different") to get noticed...besides, her walk isnt that good...ive seen the video of julien fournie couture show...i know a lot of models who gets booked these days dont walk as good as maria carla, natasha or carmen kass but their mere presence compensates for it. charo is beautiful but she doesnt look high fashion...just a personal opinion

for me..everyone can be high fashion it just takes a single eye to see that you are..she's just 23 and young!! in her early years in modelling she has achived great success in commercial modelling and hopefully she will do the same in HF lets just wait..i know she can make it.

Yeah I know that Zero Maria Cornejo show, someone here even told us that she looked umm... horrible. IMO, she doesn't look so slim and tall like model-like ala Natasha, Raquel, etc because although she is tall (5'8-5'9), she isnt long legged. I mean, her legs are shorter that it should be, its her trunk thats long actually heehee. Plus like I said, she's vuloptuous. She is very commercial. She fades behind all these models cos she doesnt have a uniquie look. Very ordinary.

Yes she is just 23 and young, but in the modelling industry thats kinda old dont u think? Especially now that there are fresh new faces season after season who are only 17, 18. Like liliqouismoon, I have also been waiting since 2006 for her to be a real 'supermodel'.

And of all the 3 pinay models in NY, I am rooting for Charlene too, she just needs to get her body back when she won. She could be one of Tao, Sun Fei, all those asian top models right now. She projects very well considering she's just new. Unlike Charo who had many awkaward facial expression in her early years.
