Chloé F/W 2019.20 Paris

I've been way more impressed by Natacha's previous collections for Chloé. I even watched the livestream and the clothes looked just as dull as they do in photos. I kept waiting for a section with a little "oomph", a nice print, anything.. it never came.

The only look I'm remotely interested in is the plaid jacket with the wide pants tied around the hips, probably because it reminds me of late 90s McQueen in its proportions.

I really like this because it’s very Chloe even if there’s something very linear in the collection. It’s beautiful, it’s interesting but I need that shot of surprise!
She understand Chloé and has the capacities to move it forward...

My only complain is that sometimes, I feel like because she wants to make every piece a potent element, she overdesign. Those pants and all didn’t need those cargo pockets.
Less is more. Great print or great cut is enough.

There’s something about the casting that bugs me. I wish Dossena and her could really make a real cut from Ghesquière in a way...It can turn the whole thing in the generic side.

I’m actually quite satisfied with this collection, I most definetely prefer this over the last fall collection. If I had to critique something about the show I would only say she doesn’t need so many looks...like cut it from 56 to 40

The collection is better to see in motion. I love the prints of this season and the soft embroideries at the end. Both 2019's collections of Chloé by NRL are strong and wearable! In my opinion, she is getting better season after season. Just the bags are weak...

I have grown to like Natacha's Chloé. She really gets the brand. There is something very Chloé and the flou that I enjoy in her vision of the Chloé girls.

But it also lacks something exciting. The collection has one note. There is no opening, climax, closing. I have seen some of her clothes in person and they are cut really well. I just wish she doesn't add and piles things up all the time. And, indeed, they need a new shoes director because what I love the most about Clare's Chloé are the shoes. Here they are just bland or ugly. It's not even exciting-ugly.

I must say i was backstage i seen the clothing up close & personal it looked perfectly cut & of the highest highest quality..the accessories on point like always with Chloé ..even the boots looked amazing..For me this is what this brand is..maybe a touch plain for you lady's liking ..but i Loved this..

I think that sums it up nicely. Natacha has had rather successful transitions as CD at Chloé. I feel like shes doing an honest job. However I agree there can be more tension, ebb and flow. Because it does seem like she has gotten comfortable in what shes going.

Great show and music though!

Great clothes and I see some Karl Lagerfeld influenced "flou" dresses from the early 70s
Though as Taylor mentioned she does not know how to do shoes, where are the sexy Chloe platforms /sandals.

Beautiful and quietly chic. Everything looks meticulously crafted and very, very high quality. I love that shade of blue, and the bags are great.

nothing i have liked as much as her first show for chloe :( it's pretty enough but not .. exciting ?

Its time to her start to challenge herself, take us to to edge. She already established her aesthetic, next time I wanna see at least 3 looks completely out of her comfort zone.
I think that maybe commercial success will give her strengh and trust to move even forward.
The annual results event is in May.

In a way I understand why she is playing safe. Her Chloe is already a departure from the usual « blonde English girl » Chloé.

It's not as good as her other collections and I wish she did a bit more with prints like the one Liu is wearing. It's probably the only interesting and intriguing thing in this collection.
