Chloé S/S 2022 Paris

I partly agree that the first few looks with a focus on tailoring and discreet detailing were the best she's shown until now but she's so unimaginative, she runs out of ideas quickly and retreats to macramé fringe-fest and rainbow patchwork. All that fringe reminded me of dream-catchers come to life...

I agree that it would be beautiful to see something more put together and more coherent with the demands of real-life dressing since very few people reside in hippy communes (and sing kumbaya every other sunrise...) compared to those that, you know, have real jobs to get to. Chloé, historically, has been more pragmatic than not.
 
It's like she has no idea what she's doing so she's just designing two Gabriela Hearst collections every season now.
 
I had high hopes for her but everything she‘s done so far for the house feels just wrong
