Chloe Grace Moretz

Something about this girl rubs me the wrong way. She sounds full of herself and she dresses way too adult. She's also at too many events for someone who should be in school. Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld are more acclaimed for their acting talents and they aren't on the carpet nearly as much as she is. I feel like Chloe is going to be the Lindsay Lohan of her generation at the rate she's going.

^She looks like a 50s housewife in the first pic... she´s very hit & miss in my book.

I'm going to say in advance that this will be a very immature comment and as a 24 year old, I should no better......but this little girl gets on my nerves to NO end. I don't understand why? Maybe it's the over-exposure (she's literally been in the spotlight non-stop since Kick-*** came out), OR maybe it's the way she dresses and poses and the eagerness to grow up that rubs me the wrong way. That said, I agree with Kokobombon, she looks like a 30 year old 50's housewife.

i like the airport outfit , childish and girly , and it suits her very well

I remember reading an interview where she said she's home schooled, so that might be the reason she's seen at public events more often than the other two. But I do agree with you on her style choices. She dresses like someone twice her age, which is a shame because she has her whole life ahead of her to experiment with fashion choices. She should enjoy her teenage years and dress like a teenager, because pretty soon those years will be over.

Totally agreed.

I am happy to see some people think like me - I wrote 2 days ago that I hardly ever see her look her age meaning that she dresses way too much like an adult and yeah, she rubs me the wrong way...with her strange smile that seems very fake for some reason and still reminds me of lemon juice and all :innocent: I have never seen her in a movie so I can't say anything about her acting skills I can only say that I don't know why there is a 14-year-old posing so much on so many events

I'm probably going to get crucified for this but...here's the thing, and I'm not saying this is right or wrong or whatever, but she's a young girl who doesn't have a 'normal life', she's a talented, in demand actress with the likes of Scorsese and Burton lining up for her. As someone said, she's home schooled and she has been working for quite a few years now. She's around adults a lot, much more than anyone her own age so it's not surprising that she's mature for her age. It happens with every child actor I've ever met, that includes both Fannings and Hailee Steinfeld by the way, lets not think for a second they're all sweet and innocent and not career focussed because trust me, they really are. The Fanning family are a machine.
I don't know about you but I certainly wasn't some little, cute innocent girl at 14 either and if someone had thrown designer dresses at me I'd have jumped at it too. Don't tell me you weren't in a hurry to grow up at that age. I agree, her outfits have been too mature for her but it seems to have been dialled back a little recently with the Miu Miu and the Chanel. That Burberry is awful though. Most of these events she goes to don't allow minors to stay after 11pm, so it's not like she's partying until 2am.
I've spent quite a bit of time with her and yes, she's a confident young woman (very bright), yes she's mature for her age and good grief is she media trained up to the eyeballs but I've never seen the precocious brat that everyone like to assume she is. Is she likeable? Well I suppose if mature teenagers with careers, ambition and strong conversational ability aren't your thing then no, she's probably not. We all have our opinions.

Looks like she's switching between 'super wanna-be sexy' and 'prude' , the last outfit is as age-inappropriate (in other respects) as the sexy-ones she's been wearing some weeks/months ago.

I wish she'd go back to being girly or at least dressing somewhat age-appropriate.

If only she´d worn a different skirt, or if the one she wore were shorter...

The last outfit would be really cute if not for that skirt, the yellow knit and shoes are great but the librarian skirt kinda ruins it.

It's too mature for her. Her nails are cute, but I wish she had paired the shirt with a skirt that's cute and young.

I don't think Chloe comes across as mature at all. In interviews she sounds exactly as you describe- a young girl who's around adults all the time and therefore believes herself to be mature. That she seems to think her outfits are age-appropriate shows that no one is telling her otherwise. Her parents should be mindful of letting her be around kids her own age more. A lot of the events she attends she really doesn't need to be there.

Elle and Dakota may be just as career-driven but it seems their parents still made sure they acted their age. Both went to regular school and have friends their own age. Dakota was a cheerleader. Elle is just as much into fashion and has the same career ambition as Chloe but she's not on the red carpet pouting, giving sexyface and wearing see-through lace tops with her bra showing like Chloe.
