^Yoox.com has a 41eu, 11 us available for $458. Get them!! They are my favorite shoes.

Thanks! I couldn't believe they had them in stock in my size!! Are they usually accurate with what they show in stock on their website? I bought them, and then went back and saw they were still available...it's hard to believe they have multiple size 11's in this shoe!!

I called Neiman's to try to cancel my order, but too late...*sigh*

^You may just want to see the size difference on the 40's. They do run big so they may actually fit. You can always send one or the other back.

Yeah, it's best to have the option of trying both ... but I sincerely hope I prefer the 41's since they are $212 cheaper!

I just checked Yoox again, and now these are showing up as sold out, so I probably got the last pair ... I still can't believe my luck! Of course, my husband might not consider it so "lucky"... ;)

I just snagged the patent maryjane with an ankle strap this morning at chuckies nyc half off of 780. The wedge is SCREAMING HIGH. Does anyone have these and know how they feel after a night out on them.

Here is a pic from NAP.

Hey DaraKaye -- I just got back from a store opening party near South Street Seaport and someone had these on. They looked great! Congrats...

Hmm...interesting...what feels more comfortable about the heeled version? Maybe I'll try to find a pair of those if the wedges don't work out... ;)
I don't know really, I think it was the fact that if you are walking on uneven surfaces with wedges you kind of do a lot of 'rocking', like a see-saw, over the bumps on the street! Because there is no space between heel and toe to go inbetween uneven bumps you can feel slightly unbalanced at times, plus the wedge is narrow, whereas the heel is very thick and so you feel sturdier and a bit safer at a high height. Does that make any sense?

Yes, it does - I may try to find the heeled version in my size, then ... still haven't received the wedge version to try yet, though. Thanks for the info! :flower:

Having owned both, (the heeled pair I got were faulty and had to go back) I reluctantly accepted the wedge as a second choice, but now in terms of how they look, I feel the wedge is a more beautiful shoe and now I've gotten used to the wobbling, I much prefer them.

How do these shoes compare in sizing with the wedge ankle ties from last season? The ankle ties only came in whole sizes but the buckle ones come in half. I have a 38 in the ankle ties. The buckles ones are closed in the front should I get 38.5 since I have a high arch?

aspen, I have these shoes, and they are completely true to size. I am a 38, but found last years tie front wedges abit big. These ones fit perfectly, so I would go with your regular size :)

they are gorgeous shoes ;)

i so badly want those buckle platforms.. i'm almost willing to do anything :p

^ Intermix.com has them on sale in the wedge. They don't have my size otherwise I'd get them. Use code invite1231 for 10% off until Dec 30.

^ otherwise i would use that, but they don't ship to europe

If anyone lives in the UK and is interested, Topshop is currently doing a knock-off-ish version for £65. But to me, they look like Chloe crossed with Vivienne Westwood ... there is definitely some VW "influence" thrown in there. You can order it on topshop.com as well, which ships to the US, but it's currently out of stock.

I'm sorry, I hope no-one is offended by my post.
