The fall shoes are *yum*....! I was wearing the t-strap mary jane and ouch, after three hours I have decided to buy another pair of flats....!!

hooray!! i just got the last black platform wedge (the one that ties on the ankles) on nap - all the sizes were sold out except for 38 and apparently i got the last one! whew! i still can't believe i got it, it was quite an adventure since i got on the bandwagon late. my husband agreed to get them for my birthday so we went to the chloe boutique today (sold out completely), went to nordstroms (they found 2 in the company, but were on hold 'til tues.), went online on neiman's who had my size couple days ago but not anymore. so i just got really lucky checking nap!

I saw they had the white t bar wedges on nap too... but £404! How can they be so much more than the tie wedges? Talking of which, I've had mine 3 weeks now and still haven't been outside in them yet!

dizzyblonde - i noticed that the t-straps were more expensive too. i tried them on at nordstroms and thought they were cute, but just liked the extra funkiness of the tie straps. how come you haven't worn them out yet?

Suzi -- I haven't worn my a lot yet, prabably about 3-4 times since I got them at the end of Feb. They're very comfertable though and easy to walk in.

get this gals - can you tell from which pic below is the geniune chloe pair?? both perhaps? none? well, one of them is by steve madden!!! i swear they are pretty much exactly the same, down to the very detail of the rivets and leather strip towards the bottom of the platform! i saw these IRL today at the steve madden store and i swear, if someone removed the labels i would have thought they were by chloe, which i've also seen IRL too. $130!! they are new so grab them up if you didn't want to spend the $$ for the chloe ones. they are on zappos.com, but not on stevemadden.com just yet. otherwise they are in stores too.

i knew steve madden was doing designer inspired shoes by Christian Louboutin and Michael Kors, but i didn't think they would do chloe too.

What to wear with the Platform Tie Wedge?

I got my Chloes just a few weeks a go, and I am having trouble finding outfits to wear with them.

I saw everyone (from the pics) wearing it with pants, but I would like to show off the cute leather ties, so I'm thinking of shopping for a dres that would fit it. Any suggestions?

I'd wear mine (after keeping them on a pedestole for a month) with a loose, puffed-sleeved blouse and cute shorts. Or a very cute jumper with a tight mid-sleeve sweater underneath.. (but I'd keep the colors neutral i.e. grays, browns, blacks.. with maybe a splash of color)

Does anyone know if the cream Chloe tie-up platforms will be available in Australia? Especially in Melbourne - or are they just sold out everywhere?
I only just discovered them, and summer isn't here until the end of the year!
