Christian Dior F/W 2025.26 Paris

Her shows are excruciating. I have no patience and cannot watch them. She always has to inundate us with some overly intellectual performance to make up for her lack of design capabilities. I am counting down to her exit !!!

Hard to tell if she’s over it or if it’s just another boring collection from her.

On an individual garment basis, this is her strongest and most accomplished show but it’s still very meh. It’s a really boring exercise in department store merchandising. I can’t remember a single look

The J’adore Dior shirt is so lifeless here as is the entire house right now. How sad

Not sure I want to dedicate more time to even discussing her at this point.

When did they start doing the J’adore tshirts again?

Music and scenography reminds me of raves. Not so MGC.

I can’t point my finger where but there’s a 2000s/early-2010s vibe I’m getting. Maybe it’s the styling, particularly some of the jackets.

there's a disconnect between clothes and presentation and music. It feels like all different elements that were the decision by different people, no coherence or message. The clothes always look good in the stores, but the shows make no sense

This feels like a swan song with a requiem vibe. I still prefer her here to JW.
I agree but it may be time for her to move on though I thought it was a strong collection of a lot of out of where very little fantasy in a fanciful set, Jw has a lot of work to do to bring in a completely new image to this house.

Would have loved to seen some more fantasy in the dresses wonderful set of strange Italian storytelling that's all her that's her brand.

I've been watching this industry for a long time and people will build you up to tear you down jw better be careful but I don't see him being there for more than 4 years if he's actually going to dior.
The industry is so fun to watch right now because there's so many style changes and mood changes going on it's the biggest battle we've ever seen.

Yeah it's the shape of the jackets ! Oversized we saw that dolce & Gabbana two early 2000/2010

Wow that was incredibly boring to watch. By the time the third gimmick on the set rolled around I was already tuned out. There’s some interesting propositions (albeit all repeated) but she has a magical way of sucking the fun out of everything and making dry and boring. That’s really a talent.
