Christian Lacroix Teams Up With Avon

THE FRENCH COUTURE designer Christian Lacroix has teamed up with Avon to create two new signature fragrances.

Christian Lacroix Rouge (for women) and Christian Lacroix Noir (for men), which will come in red and black packaging, were both created by Interparfums, Avons' worldwide fragrance experts, and are described by the firm as 'striking, audacious and provocative'. Rouge will include modern floral, patchouli and musk notes.

'I consider that every woman is a red carpet star, and nothing gives me more pleasure than celebrating their individuality: their inner spirit, their seductiveness, their lives and loves,' said Lacroix.

The scent will be available in the UK from September. (30 April 2007)

Is Avon not in the US? I thought irt was because the woman in Edward Scissorhands sells it doesn't she? Hehe. Anyway I'm not a big Avon fan. Especially not of the perfumes so this could go either way really.
