It's so sad how the red sole used to be sooo exclusive and you could spot it from a mile away. Now you really have to get up close and analyze the shoe, even then you may not know since there are various retailers out there resorting into copying every single style he comes up with.

You don't know how many Lady Gres I have spotted around, it's ridiculous.

Mr. Fabulous All the knock-off Lady Gres I've seen around are so obvious to me. The Steve Maddens are a prime example. Ick. They are missing the richness. As for the soles, I feel like the shape of CLs is most often unique enough to be able to tell the difference. What's really sad is how many counterfeits are being made and sold. That's so disgusting I could spit.

I meant that the shape of his shoes are being mimiced by other high end designers example versace, if you look closely at versace's arch its quite similiar to louboutin if not identical. I wasnt referring to cheap knock outs of CL, i meant high end designers, such as Bruno, Brian atwood etc...( to name few)...

i wanna buy a pair of louboutinS for my sister as a wedding gift (not necessarily for the wedding day) and i need some advice. She lives in nyc and i live in spain and we've been discussing where we should go buy them. are there gonna be more styles in her side of the ocean, or will there be a larger number of models here in europe (let's say paris)? what about price-wise?... dollar's value now should make them cheaper for me, but are they per se more expensive in the US or are they not?
thanks :flower:

Ok so I have a question. I'm planning a wedding for a friend and she's a huge shoe person, she loves her gucci and christian louboutin. But she is going for a cinderella/fairy tale themed wedding, well I've been looking for her shoes for ages and noticed my favorite model wore a pair on several occassions that would be perfect! But, I don't know what year they are from and where to buy them...I'm pretty sure they are louboutin.

borjacapella, from my experince I think NYC has much more variations than EU, well to be honset it depends, for example when the bling bling came out US had more of the petwer colour than EU, EU had bronze and petwer...it really depends, but the NYC has much more colours, designs are the same though...as for price it also depends on the model...it could range from 585 US dollars ( such as simple pumps) to something within 1500 US dollars( python leather)....
And in Barcelona, there is only one store that carries louboutin and they dont have much variations...aghh i forgot the name of the store but it was facing la pederera...it has a multi brand stuff...pretty cool...

Coture Chic, I think it was two years ago? it reminds me of the same one they had in pink with giltery stuff on it....have u thought of the sliver bling bling for your friend's cinderella theme;)?

Yeah thats the store Santa Eulalia, the one with two floors, ground floor mens section and the second floor women's section?;) yeah they just started carrying CL right after xmas ( i was there , they should me the catalogue).
Also, Eskpetion at Mardid has a nice selection of CLs...
Or you can resort to online stores, such as netaporter.com brownsfashion.com , matchesfashion.co.uk :flower:

The first pair look very similar to these Atwoods. Who copied whom?:lol:

Thats what I meant by CL shoe shapes are identical to other designs such as atwoods, if you look at the curve of the shoe, its very similiar to CL..

Zarina i think Choo did the design first, before CL and atwoods.

They do look a lot alike. CL has been doing this upper on different soles (wedges, etc.) for years though. It can't really be called a knock off. :flower:
