Any shoe cobbler should be able to do it...I got the soles from ebay and took them to my local cobbler in the mall that I usually use.

I tried searching ebay for the soles, but nothing came up! I'm afraid to wear my shoes out because I don't want to wear out the soles...I love the red.

If you really want red Vibram soles for your CLs, just do a search on ebay for the seller "panrixx". He sells the good quality ones. Although....I wouldn't be afraid to wear them out without them if I were you. Think about it => the section under the arch and the forward-facing part of the heel are the parts of the shoe that will stay red forever, and are also the only parts visible while wearing. It works out perfectly.

That said, I have considered resoling my shoes for traction and comfort, and the only color I would consider is red (not to preserve or protect the original red, but because putting black soles on CLs should be a federal offense ).

I’ve got a question to CL experts on exotic skin, how can you tell the difference between a water snake leather and a python leather?

Dulci: I am not sure of all the differences, but I know that watersnake has much smaller scales than python, and I don't think they overlap one another. python is also much more expensive (and better-looking, imo!)

As for not wanting to mess the soles up, I understand that you want to keep them perfect, but the shoes are meant to be worn and enjoyed! The soles will naturally scuff off anyway when worn unless you are constantly walking on carpet!

You have a very colorful selection. Mine are almost all black except for a light pink and beige pair. I've never seen the bright yellow ones. I'm sure they add color to every outfit.
