Side Note... I dropped off four pairs of my beloved CLs to a cobbler today in SF on recommendation for red zipsoles. I will pick them up tomorrow and report back..I snapped off 'before' picks and I will also post the 'after'..YAY, it will be like 4 new pairs of Loubs

ciao ohh!! how exciting!!! i love unexpected purchases :] i need to unload my very 1st pair of CLs, which were the decolletes coz i got them in a 38 instead of a 38.5 and though i've tried so hard to live with it...it's just not happening. so i'll be going for a replacement soon!

let us know how the cobbler is!! i need to zip sole some CLs, too

it's funny you mention the simple 'growing on you' iLove because I have walked by the Simmples at Barneys SF for two months now, would glanced at them and move on. Yesterday, there wasn't much happening in the CL section and I just grabbed the Ron Ron and the Simple for a try... Ron Ron's toe box was too short for me...but I when I slipped on the Simple..I just instantly LOVED them, instantly!!! Honestly, I wanted the blue too but they did not have my size. They heel height is TDF! Super easy to wear too... you must try them...the are simple-y sexy

totally agree with you ciao--they look like nothing on display but on your feet, they just come to life! The brilliant part is that they are also super comfy, the 85mm heel is perfect! I didn't have to break mine in at all--and can wear them all day shopping.

Congrats, Bella. I always liked the simple pumps and never found them too plain or boring. I think they are one of those shoes that go with everything and instantly become a staple in your wardrobe. They are def. on my CL wishlist too (but there is so much on there at the moment ).
