Anyone tried on the Armadillos. I'm wondering how they fit. I am looking at the blue striped ones on Neimans website....and thinking to pre-order them!They are so so hot!

Thanks, jules! I pre-ordered the blue multi Armadillo in my true size, b/c they're d'Orsays, which tend to run big, but I think some people went half a size up.

Ahhhhh, they have new life!!

I have returned from Jack's in San Francisco and my beloved CL babies are FABULOUS!!!!! Richard is a very nice man. I asked him if he has had an influx of business lately due to his 'red soles' and he said 'Yes, as a matter of fact, it seems as though there is an online community chatting about my shop.....' Hey, that's us!!

Prices: Each pair were $24.95.... he will charge a bit extra if your soles need to be 'built; back up if you have worn them to the nub.
Time: 24 hours!
Where: Jack's Shoe Repair/ 53 Sutton Street/ SF

I chose 4 pairs for yesterday's visit.... Anthra Metallika's, Black Patent Metallika's (never worn), Fuschia Lady Gres and Beige Super T's

A dear friend of mine heart: Ms.Mona) had my Tortoise VP's zipsoled with red vibram soles in NYC a while back. The soles that Richard uses are not Vibram although they have been made specifically for CL's (made in France) and the color is amazing....

Thanks iLove.... My decollettes will be in the next drop as I was wearing them yesterday when I dropped my others off. Although I was really close to dropping my decollettes too... can you imagine me...barefoot in SF...actually wouldn't have been barefoot for long as my next stop was Barneys for my pretty new Simples!

What color are your decollettes? I have the patent grey...love!

Ladies, I'm wondering about the RonRon. Looks a lot like the decollete to me but the toe box is rounder? Am I right?
Ciaobella- you just tried it on- would you agree? I found the toe box so narrow on the 868's (although that will always be my fave style). Should I try ordering these one's? And should I order the same size I take in the decolletes?

Hi Loubou.... I did try the Ron Ron the same day I bought my Simples. I was actually wearing my Decollettes that day as well. The best I can describe them would be the toe of the Decollette has more of an almond shape (minimal toe cleavage)..and the Ron Ron toe box was really short and small (all four toes showed cleavage). The simple was slightly, just slightly, larger in the toe box (three toes showed cleavage) than the Ron Ron but made all the difference in the world. Hope that helps.....

The Armadillo is one of my favorite styles for autumn, too. Such a cool shape!

Most certainly kimair! If you think it may be me just ask ...'Bella?' I am in the area of Union Sq quite often...Barneys, Neiman's, Dior then over to Maiden Lane for a stop at Wolford (Thanks JetSet, I am addicted!) If we cross paths...perhaps it will be a Louboutin AND Balenciaga sighting....
