Ok, Louboutin Lovers, just purchased a vintage dress and want to hear your opinions on which pair of CLs will look fabulous with it..... Nude Patent YoYos or go Sarah Jessica Parker and wear a contrasting color? I don't know where I am wearing this yet, but that never stops me from anticipating!

It depends also upon your jewellry, handbag, etc. If you go with the nude yoyos then you can jazz up your accessories. If you go with a contrasting colour then you would have to tone down your accessories accordingly. However I am leaning towards a nude shoes because a dress like that needs to stand out.

lawoffashion hmm depends on what you're wearing it to. the dress is really great, the color is such a perfect summer color. anyway, i think black would make it look very formal and it'll be great if it's the decollete or something along those lines. otherwise...nude gets my vote

UNIQ, have to agree with fashionis. I think there is a good chance that they might go on sale so I'd keep on waiting a little more.

lawoffashion, the color is awesome. I would say let the dress speak for itself so tone down the accessories including shoes. The nude would be perfect imo.

i tried these on at barneys in nude suede...im thinking if i should get them or get these tan ones instead? they are a lttle bit comfortable too! thoughts?

I know I am supposed to refer to the sizing thread, my impulses direct me to buy those from NM without ever trying them on. Does anyone how they run? I am usually a 39.5(Very Prive) to 40 in CL.

Thank you everyone for your great suggestions! I do think nude would look great in an understated way. I love Ihaveadog's suggestion of the yellow declic, I was even thinking of the blue suede declics...

I guess it will depend on where I wear it. I think my next purchase will have to be a nude pair of CLs, then I can play around with contrasting color.

I think that these are the bloody mary which are part of the new fall collection, I remember seeing them at the Barneys trunk show a few weeks ago. I think that Barneys and the CL boutiques are getting them. I think that they will also come in burgundy python.

Jules Neimans is being very tricky. On their site, just put "Louboutin" in the search box and everything should come up, even sale stuff. It's like they are trying to keep their sale prices secret! They may have sold out of the Zippettes?

Also, Saks is doing pre-sale right now (for Saks cardholders) and the general sale starts next wednesday.

lawoffashion The Clichys are under $600. If they are sold out, get on the list at the Madison Ave store, I think they are getting them too.
