Christian Siriano F/W 2023.24 New York

can't believe i'm saying this but this is much better than his previous collections. Not that it's gooooooood lol but it is decent. he just needs to focus on one thing and stop adding so much.

Leave it to him to deliver badly constructed/sloppy execution, garish colors palette, and cheap-looking fabrics every season.
There are a lot of YSL references in this collection but looks like it was done by a cr*******.
The last four looks are really tragic.

Poor Coco always closes the shows with the worst look.

As always there are some nice pieces drowning in a sea of excess. If only he could hire someo e to edit his collections. If he had shown 10 of these and edited the crazy looks it would be a chic collection

This hurts. And it gathers almost all the clichés I dislike about fashion in general. It looks dated while his aim was probably to appear as timeless. The try-so-hard extravaganza doesn't work either. Almost every look falls flat while I desperately wanted to like at least a couple outfits. Five minutes ago I was going to complain about Theory being plain and déjà-vu but I'd take their basic bright red outfits over any of those above anytime.

an affront to the senses. the last look is an absolute abomination and ought to be razed to cinders.

how is this man still working?

If only the last look was the only abomination here... But your question sums it up quite well, how come do we still have to see such "things". Not only horrendous but totally pointless from A to Z.

And he is the "best" designer coming from Project Runway...I am scared imagining what the worst one would show in NYFW if he/she had the chance...

At this point I'll give it to him though. It does add personality to the sea of bland shows in NYFW. Not that it's good but it's consistent.
