avoocadoo, I think you shouldn't make so much emphasys on how bad you think Claudia looks, in this thread. Because in this thread, many of us just love Claudia for all she has been, she has done a wonderful job and still does a wonderful job.

Not many models change during their years looking great like Claudia does.
In fact one of the great things that Claudia has is that she always keep herself simple.

Claudia can use lot of eyeliner, make her hair up and re-create that Brigitte Bardot look that many people finds so attractive. But Claudia is not interested on look like a sex-symbol. She is very smart on know that the older you get the simpler you should get on your look.

She has a gorgeous hair, a body to die for and porcelain skin.

This pic is from one editorial she made last year, and I think thats how people expect her she looks on her everyday look or on every event she attends. Once again, she could, but she is quite happy to be a natural beauty and many people love her because of that

But lovely Claudia is not 'frozen' on the 90's. She have move on on her style, life and career and contrary to other celebrities, she still got it!

* Linda doesn't look the same than 20 years ago, Naomi looks strange now of her face .... with or without botox all the models have changed, everyone of them, it's called aging and there's no reason to be sad, it's a normal process of life.

* you won't never see Cindy or Claudia with super minis, the big hair and super red lips again, not in real life, it's called maturity, some people change in a physical and mental way.

I think people expect claudia to be fearful of growing older like most women who were always told they were beautiful. But claudia has shown the world that you can age gracefully in hollywood (Or in london) without looking like you are trying too hard. You can not be 38 and a mother of two kids and still try to convince people that you 20 years old. it's pathetic. i'm happy that claudia looks natural and healthy.

In an interview for her appearance as cover model for the April edition of Vogue magazine, she said: "Botox is like poison in your skin and no one knows the long-term effects. I’m far more scared of that than a wrinkle on my forehead. All of my friends are my age and we are all aging at the same time; we talk about it and moan, but it doesn’t bother me.”


so people must understand ( in particular, avoocadoo) that claudia is not in any race against time, and she is not competing with other supermodels on who looks younger. that is childish and infantile.

remember what carrie bradshaw ("sex & the city") had to say about getting older?

Miranda: "Whatever happened to aging gracefully?
Carrie: "It got old"


I personally think claudia looks radiate and gorgeous for a woman who is almost 40 years old and is not using any botox (like linda, naomi, and elle)

I don't think it's to do with her age. She could still look very good. It's the colours that are all wrong. If it is the 'etheral look' she is after, as somebody suggested, then that makes sense, I thought she just didn't care anymore.
Sometimes she even tops the white-in-white look off by wearing....yes WHITE clothes.
On the Fashion Fringe 2009 photos she looks better you see. Hair slightly darker, no white clothes - improvement!

yes she is still pretty and amaazig thats why i REALLY REGRET and don't understand her weird(for me) style and clothes...she could look much better if only she hadn't those whitish pale skin, hair and infantile clothes....YES WE ALL I love Claudia Schiffer, but there is nothing wrong in commenting her style here sometimes with a little bit of critisizm

My post and maybe the post of some people here defending her was because you started saying "she got older in bad way". IMO that's not fair with Claudia as she seems to work hard on her body, being healthy, she takes care of her skin, no matter her hair color you have to admit her hair texture is amazing.

Thanks misclaudia for the interview bit. I don't find too much interviews with her. if you have any please post them. The few interviews with her I have read makes me love her more.

I don't know who told you that linda evangelista didn't age. i love her, but she has certainly aged and looks different. actually i my humble opinion i think that claudia has aged better than linda. Claudia still has the body of a supermodel, and linda's body looks weird now:
