I think Leighton's outfit was perfectly styled (minus the shoes). I guess some people favour understated style. I like a bit of both.

Goodness, I disagree. (But we can still be friends, I hope ) Leighton's outfit was pure trying to hard while Clémence was understated elegance - perfect for Chanel. I actually did really love Blake's outfit too, but my immediate thought wasn't Chanel but rather a more young and hip brand. But most importantly, I feel like you get the sense, through their styling, that both Clémence and Blake dressed for themselves and their own style. Leighton on the other hand, she just looked like a hot mess, literally.

I think each girl wore Chanel in all it's varying degrees well. I don't think a lot of people (mainstream mags) would get Clemence's fashion it's very Parisian in it's simplicity and class. That's why I really like her style. I don't think most people would get Leighton's either just because it's not as "pretty" or pleasing to the eye. It's really to Blake's credit she does mainstream very well and gets mag covers and such often over Leighton who dares to be more unique.

I'm so looking forward to Deathly Hallows now, Clémence looks gorgeous in the shots I've seen so far of her in the wedding dress (though it sucks they cut out Fleur's part from HBP, I'd have liked an emotional scene or two from her). And she looks really pretty in-character on GG, though I prefer her own style- but then I guess that's why she is an actress? Love the pics from Chanel's front row too, she couldn't be more of a contrast with Leighton if she tried. It's easy to let Chanel's designs overpower your personal style, but Clémence always makes it work for her and I really admire that.

OT, I find it hilarious that Ed/Chuck is carrying a walking stick in #455. I know he's supposed to dress like an old-school dandy, but isn't this hammering the message in a little too hard?

I can't wait for DH, the wedding will be lovely. I do hope her part has a decent amount to it [for being Fleur], especially after we were gipped of her character in HPB.

Oh, I forgot. But I've seen the canes that injured people use these days (a couple of my friends had to, after getting breaking their legs) and they look nothing like that! Chuck's an old-fashioned dandy, all right .

I can't wait to see Clémence though! I like the sweet uber-girly costumes she has on even though they make her look like a human cream puff- her regular style is cooler but hey she's on GG so I'm not complaining.
