Coco Rocha

I've never seen it before . I love Coco she seems to have so much fun and have a great attitude all the time :blush:. She's one of the nice ones without being a bore.

Yeah, people have said so, right, that she doesn't smoke or party or anything. Actually I think people who don't know much about fashion would be kind of surprised with how many of the models actually don't party because they're working most of the time. I know I was when I started looking into all of this. I love that Coco's doing so much for the industry, raising awareness, and everything. She's my superhero.

Thanks! I really don't like the shot though.. the girls look gorgeous (especially Coco and Ali Stephens!) but something is off about that picture that I don't like.

^ I really dislike the plaid dresses for some reason. I get the look they were going for the the styling doesn't work for me.

Coco brings such enthusiasm to her work - I've been away from this thread for a little while and going through a few pages and seeing what she's done recently just highlights how much energy she brings to the table.

Oh, she's so cute!! I think it's amazing that Coco and Caroline Trentini aren't like the most part of the models, they're good girls too!! Yeah, I'm almost sure she doesn't smoke, because I've never seen a picture of her smoking. And, according to Trentini, she's a religious girl too!:D

i really like coco: i like her pictures and i like her editorial work. but i don't like to see her (or carol, or any girl for that matter) in that good girl image. it may or may not benefit her career, i am really concerned if such image lends itself to some political messages or social movements, which is something that i believe coco has shown a proclivity to do. the good thing about the bad girls is that no one takes, say, kate moss's political opinions seriously when he is shown a picture of kate sucking down on cocaine, but some people just might when it comes to a nice girl like coco or a religious girl like carol. and that is just annoying. i prefer wearing a mao suit all day to electing coco to some political office, which is to say the world is better if politicians dictate terms to the fashion world than the other way around, although in normal circumstances i would desperately want to avoid both scenarios. let's just take coco for what she does best, to charm us in front of a camera with her body but not mind and occasionally with her voice but not words

^ I understand you feel that way. I think that way sometimes too but face it. The world we live in, the media is imperfect and when they ask models or anyone to talk, they will. Besides I don't recall an article where Coco has ever done anything political since all I've seen her do is speak and raise awareness and encourage designers to treat their models well. Famous models are always going to be under scrutiny so it's a bit too much to say that people might get annoyed by Coco's image because whatever she's going to say is going to affect people's opinion of her anyway. It happens and there's nothing we can do about it. Let Coco do her own thing and honestly whether or not I like what she says, I'm still going to save pictures of her because she's such a talented model. And there's nothing wrong for people to want to see a beautiful model like her be as normal and as nice as the person sitting to next to them.

Sorry, I ranted now..now I have no idea what I was trying to say haha.

Frankly, I'm not sure how simply expressing one's opinions, which everyone has a right to do whether people like it or not just because they may get more publicity than the "man on the street", is suddenly equal to running for political office or "dictating" to politicians. Not that I want to get political here but Coco can do whatever she wants to do, if it's important to her, because it's her life. Models aren't only images or clothes hangars :flower:.

Happy to hear about a new edit!
