Veronica Webb, Coco Rocha reporting on Fashion Week

Veronica Webb and Canadian model Coco Rocha will team up for a new, temporary gig. They’ll be hosting Fashion Week TV, a broadcast of live coverage from the Bryant Park tents produced by “Project Runway” creators Modelinia.com. “Fashion Week is a hive of activity, and we want to make sure that New Yorkers have an all-access pass,” Modelinia founder Desiree Gruber tells Page Six. Their show will air on municipal station NYC Life.

^ Yeah. I think that it's something to do with her dance background. That girl sure knows how to move.

Rummaging with Coco Rocha

The supermodel and catwalk veteran takes us bargain-hunting for the perfect Fashion Week outfit. By Rachel Strugatz

H&M (515 Broadway between Broome and Spring Sts; 212-965-8975, hm.com)
Coco Rocha has an every-girl quality that’s surprising for a model of her caliber. She blogs (ohsococo.blogspot.com), she tweets, she Facebooks…and, okay, she also happens to be the new face of Rimmel and has designed her own collection, Rococo, due this September. Still, when she arrives at H&M, hand-in-hand with artist boyfriend James Conran, she’s ready to rummage and immediately makes a beeline for a black blazer with silver studs ($60). She also picks out a pleather motorcycle jacket ($50), bleached-out skinny jeans ($39) and an ivory linen shirt with ruffles down the front ($30), but the outfit is complete only after she perches a men’s fedora ($15) on her head.

Topshop (478 Broadway at Broome St; 212-966-9555, topshop.com)
“Where are the leather pants?” Rocha asks, snatching up a pair of black skinny faux-leather leggings ($90) the second she lays eyes on them. She pairs these with a gray holey sweater ($55), a peach silk tank top ($70) and a beige canvas handbag with a gold chain strap ($65). “This is definitely my favorite outfit that I tried on here,” she says of the ensemble, before putting on an oatmeal-colored double-breasted swing coat ($190) that she loves because she has “one exactly like this from Asia!” Other favorites include a long, black wool cardigan with gold studs ($100) and a black embroidered bustier dress with mesh sleeves ($160).

Aldo (700 Broadway at W 4th St; 212-982-0958, aldoshoes.com)
Rocha has a thing for edgy footwear: “I like shoes that are chunky. I don’t like a skinny heel unless there is a platform. I like metals and raw materials, and I hate plain things!” she says, eyeballing a pair of black suede Cousey ankle boots with zipper detailing ($100) and electric blue Mickolick bootie-style pumps ($60). The winner, though, is the Sinicki python pair with a hidden platform and a sexy, silver metal heel ($85).

Housing Works (130 Crosby St between E Houston and Prince Sts; 646-786-1200, housingworks.org)
“I like vintage because you never know what you’re going to find,” Rocha says upon entering the thrift shop. Her eyes dart toward the silk drop-waist, mint-green dress ($110) on the mannequin and a black silk minidress with fringe beading detail and a low back ($55). “I like unique pieces, not anything that’s overbearingly obvious,” says Rocha. “I love elegant beading. I have dresses from the 1800s!” That said, her favorite find was a black velvet Victorian-style jacket with puff sleeves and gold buttons ($40).

Rag & Bone (119 Mercer St between Prince and Spring Sts; 212-219-2204, rag-bone.com)
Parading around the store in a black tuxedo shirt (on sale for $90) tucked into boyfriend-tailored navy pants (on sale for $104) and a gray herringbone Jem blazer (on sale for $173), Rocha decides a Pearl Ward tie (on sale for $44) would be the perfect addition to her outfit, commissioning her boyfriend Conran to knot it just so. “Rag & Bone is one of my favorite brands,” says Rocha. “It’s very old English and it’s wearable—and not haute couture.”
