Cole Haan

I was just wondering what everyone thought of this bag. I love it, and the leather feels wonderful. I never hear anyone talk about Cole Haan. Is it because he is not really considered "designer" or have ya'll found anything wrong with the bags. Let me know because I was thinking of ordering a shoulder bag by him. Thank you.

Yes, but I have lived in the United States my whole life.

cole haan is not a person...it is the name of a leather goods company...like nine west...or coach...or dooney and burke...

and it is not considered designer...but rather contemporary...

personally...i quite like cole haan...for what it is...good quality ...basic, classic style...

Definitely. I went into the local Cole Haan store for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing too tacky at all. Lots of very Coach-like stuff, though. Not sure who's ripping off who.

Ok, I feel really stupid; but I just couldn't resist asking. Thanks for your opinions. Is there any real designer that designs handbags similar? I just like the colors and basic usefulness. Thanks.

The shape doesn't really do it for me. Kind of simple but I guess it would go with anything. It looks really nice though.

I agree. For the pricepoint you are getting a much nicer bag than something that Dooney/Bourke or Coach scribled their intials all over. My mom has a very nice, basic brown tote bag shes uses for work by Cole Haan and the leather is really very high quality.
