I think she has quite a lot of stuff in the works at the moment: DVD, tv show etc. I think she will have a succesfull career on her own. Whos to say that she wouldn't have gone on to be a singer or actress if she never got with Wayne. She is not the first person in the world to become famous by association.

I think you're being astoundingly naive here - her "fame" is completely unsustainable without him, as is her lifestyle. What made her famous? Her association with him and her shopping trips funded by him. Would anyone buy this DVD if he hadn't made her famous? Absolutely no way. Would she be on magazine covers without her association with him? Not a snowballs chance in hell. If they did break up, exactly what would she do?

No Wayne = no money = no clothes = no fame. The girl quit her A-levels to pursue shopping for a living, for the love of God! All she would have without him is a large wardrobe, and even if she did manage to sell her clothes and accessories, it's not like she'd be a millionaire!! Seriously, her fame and lifestyle is completely contingent on her being with Wayne - why do you think she hasn't just grown a pair and kicked his cheating *** to the curb after all the public humiliation?

I don't think that she as a person is fascinating, (I've read some of her Closer columns, and she doesn't seem to have much to say for herself, except that she likes to wear her hair up, more than leave it down), but as a media phenomenon, she is incredibly fascinating...just look at this thread, how many pages has it generated, considering her achievements (ahem).

Look up to her?

I'm not quite sure how many people 'look up' to her. They might aspire to be in her position...to spend that kind of money every week would be amazing, but she is certainly no role model, nor is she an aspirational figure for young girls to look up to....atleast I hope the hell not, otherwise we live in a very bleak world.

Furthermore, until she stops getting a £50,000 allowance from Wayne, than she is still not a woman who has proved that she can sustain herself or her celebrity through her own money or merits. She might earn a couple of grand for a Hello cover here and there, but she still spends his ££££.
