I think you're being astoundingly naive here - her "fame" is completely unsustainable without him, as is her lifestyle. What made her famous? Her association with him and her shopping trips funded by him. Would anyone buy this DVD if he hadn't made her famous? Absolutely no way. Would she be on magazine covers without her association with him? Not a snowballs chance in hell. If they did break up, exactly what would she do?

No Wayne = no money = no clothes = no fame. The girl quit her A-levels to pursue shopping for a living, for the love of God! All she would have without him is a large wardrobe, and even if she did manage to sell her clothes and accessories, it's not like she'd be a millionaire!! Seriously, her fame and lifestyle is completely contingent on her being with Wayne - why do you think she hasn't just grown a pair and kicked his cheating *** to the curb after all the public humiliation?

I completely agree. The girl is just another freeloader out for what she can get and will never do a decent days work in her life. She is living off the back of his fame and money and NOBODY would give a damm about her 'style' if it wasn't for the fact that every item of clothing on the girls back is paid for by him and that she has every single trend in her wardrobe.

Normally, I dont interfere things like this but i have to make an exception for coleen because i dont have an ounce of respect for someone who can spend all their time shopping and blatantly lying about 'paying her own way' when we all know the girl does nothing.

So she has a column? well, she must get paid more than the entire staff team at that magazine to be able to spend so much money on clothes, and dont even get me started on the tacky dvd. Also, she 'earns' money from her photo shoots? what, for telling us all again and again how she doesn't spend all her time shopping when all evidence proves otherwise?
I hate the fact that she thinks she has some god-given right to be famous just because he is. I never had time for Victoria, but at least she DOES have her own millions in the bank.

Also, any decent girl would have dumped him for all the 'incidents' he's been involved in. But of course she wont, she knows that she would have nothing without him and you cant respect anybody who has such devotion to money than her own self worth. I can splash out on a few designer peices but I work for my money. I dont want to be 'kept' by any man and I like being able to buy my own things when I want from my own money.

Lastly, I am from Liverpool and I have also seen her in cricket where she was walking around with her/his credit card clasped in her hand. People like her have no regard for money because what they are spending is not theirs so why be bothered? On a seperate occassion, I was in cricket and witnessed Alex Curran (Steven Gerrards fiancee and her of the yellow juicy tracksuit and moonboots fame) spent 20 MINUTES just looking at herself in a mirror after trying a top on. She was the colour of a satsuma and had at least 4 inches of slap on!

I just don't like her. I'm a HUGE football/EPL fan (Manchester United!) so I know quite a lot about Colleen and like I said, I don't like her and I certainly don't like her style. Most of the time it looks as if she put WAY too much thought into it, just for the sake of being a called a fashionista or something. There's nothing too unique, interesting or memorable about it either. It's either too plain or too over-the-top. Most of the time it also comes off as if she's ripping off looks/trends straight from magazines (a fashion no-no, IMO) and/or trying to out-dress other football wives, particularly Alex Curran (I'm not a huge fan of this girl either). Among all the football wives, Victoria Beckham is the closest there is to a real "fashionista" but even she tends to go "overtrendy" sometimes. Just my 5 cents.

yes ive seen her in liverpool in vivienne westwood, and walking around cavern walks. In fact she is actually very pritty imo.

I have already said that I dont think she is nice looking, though it is irrelevant to the reason I dislike her. Although I do think she is quite 'plainer' in 'real life' and older than 19. Trust me, there are loads of gorgeous girls in Liverpool and if I thought Coleen was nice looking I would honestly say so.
Remember how minging posh looked before she was in the spice girls?, alright, shes no supermodel now, but it just goes to show that money can improve your looks too!


My family have known the Rooneys since before I was born and I grew up 2 minutes away from Coleen (although I never knew her). She also went to the same schools as me but I am a few years older than her so obviously I never saw her there either.

Alex Curran rates slightly worse in my book than Coleen because I have seen her LOADS of times and do not like the girl. She is always claiming in magazines that she is a 'mum' and that she never shops because 'she always has her baby to look after'. Well, of all the times I have seen her she has never had the baby with her and trust me, she thinks she is 'IT' !!!!!! You cant help but stare at the girl just for the thick layers of make up alone, and she is ALWAYS in cricket (something she always tries to deny). I saw her going into tesco once in the shortest skirt ever (and yes, this was the daytime!) and a tan so orange I thought the girl had a medical condition! She was definitely making sure she was noticed, until some school-girls started calling her names then she got into a bit of a huff, poor thing............

I always used to see louise (jamie redknapps wife) a lot, and she is very pretty. She's also very nice and chatty. My dad thinks shes gorgeous and saw her once in the albert dock and she was so lovely to him (I dont think my dad will ever forget it!).

I have seen Jennifer ellison loads too (very tiny!) and I know she gets slagged off a bit, but at least she makes her own money and she does work for herself, unlike Coleen who will just leech off Rooney till her luck runs out!

Why don't the magazines/newspapers who interview these bimbos actually QUESTION their pathetic statements?

I read in a magazine this week that the camera crew that followed Coleen around for her 'documentary' were all bored stiff as they said ALL SHE DID WAS SHOP! and she kept telling them to make her look intellectual. Sorry hon, but they are only camera men not miracle workers! also, she was saying that she 'buys all her own clothes with her own money and yes, Wayne 'occasionally' treats her' WTF????????


I think it is a bit too 'convenient' that Alex was pregnant within months of meeting Steven gerrard and claims that she knew he was 'the one' from the minute she met him. She said once that the 'real reason' she doesnt take her baby out with her when shes shopping is because she 'doesnt want her being photographed'. Funny then, that when O.K magazine PAID for photographs of the baby, that was alright...........

She also said that she doesn't buy expensive bags 'because they are not worth it'. Well, I have seen her with Louis vuitton, chloe, balenciaga and marc jacobs bags. Why does she lie so much? Honestly, If she told me it was raining I would go outside and check!

Now that i'm living here, I'm amazed how much attention is actually paid to these arm-charms! Pro sports wives always follow a formula - blonder/thinner/more expensive habits as the years go on, and almost always tacky! We have the same thing with what we call 'Puck Bunnies' i.e. pro hockey players wives but they would certainly never get the paparazzi after them! Same with American football wives...it's rather peculiar to England. Ultimately, why should we be so interested and expect so much from women who are so predictable in certain ways?! They are given far too much credit for style and intelligence they definitely musn't have if they choose to marry a pro athlete - specially the variety that always cheats!

I remember seeing an interview on t.v a while ago with a baseball player (dont know who he was!) and his fiancee. She was the token bimbo dressed in a mis-match of designer labels and the token fake boobs who giggled or nodded her head at everything he said! He just looked pretty pleased with himself as she hung on his every word. It's a very bizarre world and one I never wish to inhabit.
