EXCLUSIVE They blow cash on pals but he can't be there

Christmas came early for the Rooney clan when Wayne and Coleen blew a whopping £50,000 for them all to see Ricky Hatton's title fight in Las Vegas... even though Roo had to stay at home.
The pair stunned 30 close family and friends with a four-day no-expenses-spared trip to the desert city to see Wayne's pal Ricky in his big fight.
Leading the roars of support for Ricky's clash with America's Floyd "The Money" Mayweather, Wayne's fiancee Coleen and her gang joined an estimated 25,000 British boxing fans who have flown 6,000 miles to back Ricky "The Hitman".
But while his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and pals were on a booze and gambling bender at his expense, Wayne was at home in Manchester playing in Man Utd's 4-1 win over Derby.
The Rooney group flew into Vegas from Manchester on Thursday, checking into the MGM Grand and the five-star £300-a-night Wynn Hotel, where Coleen and Roo stayed on holiday this summer.
As the bars and hotel lobbies buzzed with the excitement of the biggest fight of the decade, they hit black-jack tables and roulette wheels to begin racking-up a five-figure bill - equal to Wayne's weekly pay packet.
More than a thousand Brit supporters packed out the MGM Grand alone. Americans were stunned as roars of: "There's only one Ricky Hatton," echoed around bars, card tables and roulette wheels and fans danced on tables waving Union Jacks. An estimated 250,000 bottles of beer were sold to the travelling fans - most of whom didn't have tickets to the fight but paid £35 to watch it on a giant screen.
Meanwhile in the Grand Arena, Coleen and her group rubbed shoulders with David Beckham, Jude Law, Robbie Williams, and Gordon Ramsay.
Also ringside were premiership footballers Kieron Dyer and Craig Bellamy, who partied in a Vegas nightclub until 6am on Friday and blew £5,000 on Dom Perignon champagne.
Coleen was then taking the group to the VIP after-fight party at the trendy Hard Rock Hotel. A source close to the couple said last night: "Wayne was gutted he couldn't be there but made sure everyone had the time of their lives.
"He's become a close pal of Ricky Hatton's after carrying his title belt into the ring for him at his last fight in Las Vegas in June.
"He and Coleen had such a great time they knew their friends and family would love it too - it was their Christmas present to them all."
One hotel worker told the Sunday Mirror: "We're used to dealing with the unusual, but we had so many Rooneys it was hard to keep track of who was who in each room

Coleen stars in own book
Coleen McLoughlin is writing children's stories as part of a new multi-million pound book deal.
The fiancee of England star Wayne Rooney is using a fictional character based loosely on herself.
Her novels, called Coleen Style Queen, are for 10-12 year olds and will also give fashion tips.
A spokesman for Coleen said: "The children's books are part of a deal which will go over several years."

Coleen McLoughlin, fiancee of England and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney, got a surprise when a florist spotted her walking back to her car from the Cricket fashion boutique in Liverpool and handed her a big bunch of flowers. Coleen was out shopping with her younger brother Anthony. - 07/01/07

Does anyone know if there was any fallout between Wayne and Colleen after all the allegations that were happening around Christmastime about their parties and approaching shop girls and all that?

COLEEN'S WEDDING THREAT

Coleen McLoughlin has threatened to call off her wedding to Wayne Rooney over his antics at the notorious Manchester United Christmas party.
She was furious when she heard about the sordid bash where girls had orgies with first-team players - and fiance Roo asked two girls if they had ever had a threesome.

A pal said: "She started screaming and shouting, 'How could you do this to me? Don't ever, ever do this again. If you do, the wedding's off'.
"Things got thrown around and she made it clear this was his last chance. She stormed out of the house - but he adores her and has been calling and texting her begging for forgiveness."
The row started on Wednesday morning when Coleen, 21, read how United players had shipped in 100 girls for their Christmas party - and how her 22-year-old fiance sidled up to girls at the booze-fuelled, 15-hour bash and quizzed them about threesomes before showing off his sexy dance moves.
A close friend of the multi-millionaire WAG, who is appearing in TV show Star Traders with Phillip Schofield, said: "Coleen isn't stupid. She knew the party was going to be a lads' night out, but she had no idea 100 girls were going to be shipped in, basically for sex.
"She couldn't believe Wayne could do this to her. She just felt so humiliated, especially after she had just given a big interview to Hello! magazine saying how happy they were about planning their wedding.
"Coleen told Wayne if he didn't watch out she'd call the whole thing off. She stormed off to her mum's house and then went to London to film Star Traders - she was furious.
"Coleen accepts Wayne didn't do anything improper, but when she read that he was supposed to have asked two girls if they had ever had a threesome and told them 'You can call me Justin Timberlake', she blew her top."
Since the bust-up Rooney has been desperately trying to make it up to Coleen. Her pal said: "Wayne's gutted. He knows he's messed up, but he's still crazy about her and is desperate to marry her. He has been texting her and calling her furiously while she's been playing hard to get." The friend added: "The trouble with Wayne is he is the life-and-soul of the party. He's a great dancer and he's a big target for the girls which he finds hard to deal with."
The couple announced details of their June wedding after the England squad's failure to qualify for Euro 2008 and have sold the rights in a £1.5million magazine deal.
It's not the first time Wayne has been in the dog house with Coleen for his antics. Three-and-a-half years ago the Sunday Mirror broke the story about Rooney's shame with prostitutes and vice girls. Then, Coleen was simply Rooney's girlfriend. But now she is a celebrity in her own right and rakes in millions of pounds a year.
Her new perfume is the No1 selling fragrance and will earn her £2million alone. She has written her autobiography, Welcome To My World, landed a modelling contract with George at Asda, and released a fitness DVD.
Next year the budding TV star will present her own programme, Real Women, on ITV.
A friend said: "Last time it came out that Wayne had misbehaved Coleen was a young girl - but now she's worth up to £10million so she feels more empowered to walk away.
"She still wants the wedding to go ahead deep down, but only if Wayne changes his ways and realises that if he wants to marry her he's going to have to show he means it."
Coleen exploded after she read in the Daily Mirror how girls had wild orgies with players at the £100,000 Monday night do.
Party organisers had been hired to "harvest" girls for the event, hand-picking the prettiest shop girls from high-class stores such as Selfridges and Harvey Nicols in Manchester.
A Harvey Nicols supervisor said: "They wanted the girls to decorate the room. They were not paid, but were expected to entertain the men."
Players knocked back thousands of pounds of booze - and girls later said they felt they had been "treated like pieces of meat" by the footballers.

Boss fines stars and bans parties over 'r*pe' scandal

LIVID Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson has punished up to 30 players—and torn into them EVERY day since their disgraceful Christmas party climaxed in r*pe claims and a "roasting" scandal.

He has really turned on the heat by fining EVERY big-earning first team star who took part in the £4,000-a-head 15-hour booze binge on December 17.

Sir Alex's shock punishment —which added up to a whopping £1 MILLION—is the heftiest penalty ever dished out by a Premiership team for a breach of team disicipine.

Haunted

He has also BANNED any more parties and WARNED his pampered millionaire players there will NEVER be a repeat performance.

A senior club insider revealed: "Fergie is absolutely livid. This is the angriest anyone's ever seen him. He's lectured the boys every day in training since it happened."

3012_manu_01.jpg

The manager has decreed that the players involved be fined on a sliding scale depending on how much they earn. All the money, believed to average out at slightly less than a week's wages per player, will be donated to charity.

Outraged by the arrest of his budding £8,000-a-week defender Jonny Evans, 19, pictured top, on suspicion of r*pe, Fergie has directed his most explosive "hairdryer" tirades at his most senior players, including £70,000-a-week Gary Neville, £90,000-a-week Paul Scholes and £100,000-a-week England defender Rio Ferdinand. Ryan Giggs, Michael Carrick, Wes Brown and Wayne Rooney were also in the firing line.

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to escape punishment and a dressing-down. He missed the party to attend the World Player of the Year gala in Zurich.

The United stars headed to the ill-fated Christmas do at the Great John Street Hotel after a marathon drinking session.

Around 100 girl guests were personally selected by party organisers while all wives and girlfiends were barred. The squad's boozy trail started at the city centre's 235 casino, where they had a bet and ate lunch.

Then they moved to The Grapes pub for a karaoke session, with some taking a brief side-trip to a lapdancing bar. When they arrived at the luxury £395-a-night hotel—exclusively booked for the Red Devils' bash—champagne was flowing.

But the party ended in shame and scandal. A pretty 19-year-old blonde was heard moaning as she was "roasted" in an orgy including three players.

A witness said they heard clapping and cheering coming from one of the rooms where five or six men were with the girl. The witness said the men were "shrieking like hyenas" and shouting: "Get in there!"

After a few minutes the men filed out laughing and rushed downstairs for more booze.

The girl then came staggering out boasting she'd just had sex with all the men. It is the second Christmas in a row Old Trafford boss Ferguson has berated his first team for shameful behaviour. Last year the team ran up a £43,000 bar bill and the venue was damaged by guests. An expensive painting was ripped off a wall and ornaments were destroyed.

Fergie's crackdown comes after a grim week for the Premiership's image. Newcastle bad boy Joey Barton was arrested after allegedly beating a man to the ground in a drunken brawl in Liverpool on Boxing Day.

Last week the News of the World revealed how Manchester City star Micah Richards and a Premiership pal videoed themselves having sex with a girl in a toilet. And last month England's millionaire stars let the country down when it emerged three had sex with a girl in a hotel toilet the night before crashing out of Euro 2008 against Croatia.

Debt

Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor last night blasted the rogue stars' antics. He said: "Players are big personalities now and they're expected to do all they can on and off the field to be real role models.

"The majority realise how fortunate they are and the debt they owe—but we need to remind them ALL.These are young men, many of whom have got a lot of money, and there's always going to be dangers and temptations.

"But they've got to learn how to cope."
