its not atrocious but this collection reeks of the very common habit, some genzs/zillennials who are into fashion exhibit: regurgitating aesthetics and clothing, that were once popular in the late 90s and the mid 00s but without any innovation or flare, it's just lazy nostalgia.
theres 1 or 2 cute looks in here, but where's the identity, what's his language, who is he talking to? the only thing one can get from this is that connor loves the 00s
whats the point of being so heavily inspired by a time period if youre not going to recontextualize it in your time and place? these clothes would work as costumes for a gregg araki movie set in 2003, but they fail as products and fashion propositions bc theyre redundant and confined to a very especific time in culture
