Contouring / Minimizing Your Nose

I hate my nose and am definatly getting a nose job in a few years. Until then, I do what Gasoline suggested. I used the dior highlighter pen on the bridge of my nose, and bronzer on the sides concentrating where the shadow would naturally fall. Make sure it looks natural though, otherwise it will bring more attention to your nose making it look larger. Make either your eyes or lips stand out as well (but not both) and it'll make it so the attention first goes to that part of your face instead of your nose. I'm actully surprisd how before and after makeup my nose doesn't seem to grosly oversized as it does before makeup.

Why do you hate your nose?
I´ve seen your pic in the members pics tread and you look beautiful ;)

I'm going to get a nose job myself as I become older, as my nose, the way it looks now, is horrid. Button nose. :(

However, for tips how to slim down your nose, buying a conturing kit, powders in different shades or your skintone, would do good. If having a button nose like me, and you want to shrink your nose, put some on the sides of the middle of the "ball" on the nose, but be careful not to shade on the "edges" of the nose ball. That will only make the ball more prominent. Sorry for the bad explanation, I should have used pictures, but I skipped that as for now.

Girl, your nose is so pretty and it fits your face. I don't think you should get your nose done.:flower:

An aquaintance did a nose job. She had a normal beautiful nose but she was blinded by her own dellusional opinions. Now she messed it up wose than it was before and she has come to realise that her previous nose was fine *sigh*

^ Thats really unfortunate what happend to your friend :(

Thnks guys :) Didn't mean to be fishing, promise!

I've got a kinda big nose,
i'll probably use theese tricks, thank you!

but I just have to say that I love sarah jessica parkers nose.
she wouldn't be the same without it.
so the "perfect" nose isn't all.

Perfection is as ugly as the deffects.

Personality and beeing beautiful, is in the details not in having the nose you once saw in a magazine.

hopefully you won't end up on the tyra banks show for having a plastic surgery disaster :ninja:

i have a bump on my nose where it was broken and not reset. I sometimes hate it but mostly i think its eccentric and part of what make me, me!

Now that I'm a full-grown adult, I love mine. I hated it as a child but since it's a carbon-copy of my granfather's nose, I think now it's really special that I have it. I wouldn't trade my interesting nose for a perfect slope ever.

Women should understand that small button noses don`t fit all faces, there are lots of stunning women who have bigger(or slightly imperfect) noses.African American women usually have wider noses but that doesn`t make them less beautiful and Indian women usually have longer aquiline noses and we all know that they are some of the most gorgeous women in the world.

Monica Bellucci(who IMO is the epitome of femininity)has a little bump in her nose

all of those women above have tiny noses! if anyone considers theirs imperfect i don't know what they'd think about mine  i hate my nose. it's ok from the front but the profile...ugh. i don't know if i'd get a nose job though.

No their noses aren`t what you would call big, they`re different from the tiny, feminine noses everybody seams to want(they`re bumpy, aquiline, with large nostrils). You don`t have to compare your noses to theirs, they don`t represent the standard,I put pictures of them to show that sometimes slighty imperfect noses usually look better on a face.Do you think Monica,Asha or Karolina would look better if they had Nicole Kidman`s nose for example?

i wouldn't compare my nose to to anyones, they'd just be offended  i think all the above women have good noses that suit their face. it's just...i feel mine doesn't even suit my face.

haha I agree if that's imperfection then people must consider me off the scale!!!:p

Roman Nose

Hey. :]
So here's my problem:
I have this big ol' roman nose (haha) and I really hate it.
Some of my friends joke about it, too, which hurts my feelings but I act like it doesn't. But that's not the point.
My problem is, how can I make it look un-Roman-nose-like?
Thanks!

Do you mean like a hooked nose? Like Adrian Brody's? The only way to change it would be rhinoplasty (plastic surgery), but actually I think this kind of nose is interesting, sometimes looks elegant(?), and I like it :flower:

Well, maybe playing up a different feature, makeup wise could bring some attention away from your nose, but you can't change the way your nose looks from just makeup.

Gius, it sorta looks like that but with a bump... hehe.
And Sephora_Socialite, do you happen to know how to do that by any chance?
