Coperni Resort 2023 Paris

But I think there is a market for it if the price is right.
With Coperni, separates are at €200+, dresses at €400+ and outerwear at €800+. It's in that weird niche in-between mid-market contemporary and pure-blooded luxury, a tad cheaper Jacquemus and Courrèges, but it lacks the unique POV and branding they have.

Jacquemus has a somewhat unique approach (to womenswear at least) and has a very strong recognisable brand identity that I can see a future for them if they upgrade their atelier and material sourcing.

Courrèges has 60+ years of history, a Haute Couture background with relations to Balenciaga, and backing from Groupe Artémis (the mothership for Courrèges, Giambattista Valli and the Kering Group).

Meanwhile, Coperni looks like its collections was put together by an D-grade algorithm...

I get that this kind of imagery is their look, but the retouching they do in the look books makes the clothes look like Plasticine.

Does not spark joy, and does not have a strong enough POV to really warrant them existing.
