I'm looking for a cosmetic bag for travel. I like the train case style. Any recommendations? I think the Lulu Guiness line is cute.

I like caboodles. They make a nice metal case one. That's what I use when I travel... which i do wayyy too much of!

I came across this thread cuz I was looking for the same thing!! I'm a disater when it comes to packing especially my cosmetics and beauty products and I have waaaay too much of them. I love the Lulu Guiness bags - unfortunately they are not available in my neck of the woods. I'm currently checking out Caboodles.

For when I travel, I take my big Caboodles case with me-my mom bought it at a garage sale when I was younger for beads and craft stuff but now I have so much that my case is full. For shorter, weekend trips as well as everyday stuff I have a Lancome bag for my purse that I got as part of a gift set.

Ditto on Benefit's cosmetics bags. They're adorable and very hardy. I've had the Glamourous Gabbi for years and it still looks good.

I found a really cute train case by Bobby Brown. It has little circle holders that fit my Bare Essentuals makeup perfectly. It was kind of expensive ($75) and not real leather but it has lots of compartments for organization.

After a suggestion to try ebay, I finally made my first purchase on ebay and got a fairly large metal train case. I was kinda frustrated looking in stores because most the these cases were like $75++ but I lucked out and "won" mine for just under $30. If you're looking for something that has different trays to organize, I'd def. check ebay. Mine happens to have little adjustable dividers so I can change the size of the trays. Not real "cute" but it sure does the job!
