I'm shopping for a new makeup collection to mark the new year:D

Any recommendations on brands and colours?

As mentioned earlier, Kristin kreuk is a perfect example of euroasian make up.
I also have a friend who is, and she, like Kristin, looks really good when using
' shimmery ' eyeshadows and highlighters.
Too colourful or dark colours can easily look overdone.

So I guess one has to emphasize the ' healthy, glowy ' look.
A few looks I would recommend :

Pink

A ' rosey ' look, the pink will certainly make the eyes stand out.
A salmon peach colour would also.

A tinted moisturizer, pink - ish cream blush, lipgloss and mascara in brown.

Tanned

Sheer powder foundation with a yellow undertone, a soft kohl pencil,
mascara in black , ' orangy ' powder blush and eyeshadow.
Lipstick in any warm colour.

Shimmery

Metallic/beige eyeshadow, highlighter and glossy lips.

Thank you for that. She has the same eye shape as me. I will try on some shimmer and see if I like it. Thanks again...

I think one of the big advantage of being a Eurasian is that you can experimenting with colors. Being one myself, I can go from really pale lips to the bright royal red. You can play up either one of your ethnicity. Plus, most Eurasian has neutral undertone: they can go cool or warm so most color works. One of the things I would definitely recommend to try for winter days:miss a royal red with coral -all matte- on your lips. Keep your make up clean. You will look so expensive like those models on Gucci or Moschino runway. It is called the Russian lips or something. It won't look too harsh or too fake. :)

Really?! I prefer Keanu Reeves .... China Chow.... Devon Aoki.... Russell Wong.... so many others!

^ Other than the colour and shape of her eyes and the shape of her eyebrows I don't think she is that beautiful, either. If she didn't have that pale green in her eyes, I don't think people would be as crazy about her as they are because she would look quite average.

If I could find the right eyeshadow colour to bring out the dark green in my eyes people would probably think the same about me as they do about her simply because green eyes are so rare.

Pick a mocha (if you have a orange tone lip) and rosy blush (if you have pink tone lip) if you want to go as bare as possible. Use it like air, it will wake up your skin and look so bare as if you don't wear any blush. This works if you don't want ur face to overpower your smokey eyes or bold lips. I saw ppl completely skip the blush when they do those things and their face look dead.

And if you have porcelain skin, don't try the bubblegum color, they look so six-grade. I tried several times and it looked so fake.

Choose a nice oil free lotion but highly hydrated for winter. Most Eurasian has sensitive skin, I love Cetaphill moisterizing lotion. They are super hydrated and leave my skin smooth for a whole winter day without being oily at all! They're so gental so they won't irritate or reden your skin. I learned that full-cover only works on set, editorials, runways, ect. But for real life, show your skin more!

One more thing: shimmer up one or two features only. Shimmer your whole face and you will look like a pastel palette!
