Cosmopolitan 50th Anniversary May 2015 : Madonna by Ellen Von Unwerth

Oh I love the bunny ears cover! It's a nice departure for Cosmo and for Madonna to be portrayed as a bit silly and fun. Also we made it a full page with no one taking a shot at her age so kudos, didn't think some of TFS had it in them!

Probably because we all know she's a Cosmo girl at heart, so this is fitting. That said, it's time for her to close the legs, ditch the bondage garb, and reinvent herself once more.

I respect Madonna's decision to continue to perform, and agree that she encounters ageism. But what disappoints me is that, throughout her career, she was renowned for reinvention, yet she seems to have abandoned this essential part of who she is, as a performer.

She's not really a singer-songwriter, and in terms of artistry, she's not Bjork or Kate Bush - but that doesn't mean she doesn't still have a lot to offer. She's in phenomenal physical shape, with such stamina, determination, experience and influence.

But instead of seeing different facets of that person, we constantly get fed a tepid "greatest hits" of the same looks, partially recreated by photoshop, when she is so much more than that.

Oh wow, love the fold out one!! It's way better than her Vogue or Elle covers. Thanks for bringing this here, Dfl!

Maybe she's done it all, and there is nothing else to re-invent.
She can't reinvent herself forever and stay relevant for another 25 years.

Madonna??????????????????????????????????? :sick::sick::sick:
