WHEN Austin Reed announced in April that its sister brand, Country Casuals, was getting cool, it meant every word. With a new name (CC) and a new designer at the helm (ex design director for Giorgio Armani's Collezioni womenswear label, Joanne Jorg), things were looking up – and now they have the perfect supermodel (with perfect initials), on board to prove it. Cecilia Chancellor has posed for the brochure of the new collection and the sultry images of her will no doubt add to the new It-factor of the CC label which will appear in Austin Reed as well as its own standalone stores – we're talking silvered oak flooring and pale gold matt burnished metal work - this autumn. "The new CC stores have been designed to allow the fantastic new clothing range to stand out," says retail operations director, Amanda Macleod Smith. "Customers will be able to shop easily in a feminine, tranquil environment."
