i noticed her on Next right after sethii asked about the 'chinese daria'. shes been around since 2002/3 and is 22 this year. however, a comparison to daria is about as far as she'll go. her face is a bit odd and...neaderthal (no neck, weird head shape). she really wants to be a top model though.

she says here: "my goal is to become an international famous model. im working hard towards this dream. i hope everyone can achieve their dreams."

yeah... i lol'd to that.

I actually like her face a lot, in general Asians have small and receeded weak chins and oval faces, in fact Mo Wandan barely escaped that stereotype with features a tad stronger. Xiaoyi's face is longer than most female Asians and the proportions are perfect. The length from the tip of her chin to her nostrils, and from the nostrils to top of the eyebrows, and finally from the eyebrows to the hairline are very proportionate from a cosmetic surgery standpoint. That's the reason why she can take an extreme close up that blows you away her face is very symmetric and was scientifically designed to be beautiful.

^ agreed...but it will be important how she is on the runway. The shots above don't look so promising but the makeup and lighting is bad for her there. Any other runway pics? How is her walk?

Xiaoyi can be seen at the Basso and Brooke fashion show. She moves like a snake remember she is a fencer and they can twist. She appears on the at 1:48s so if you're impatient or have a fast connection go to that timeframe.
