NYC, sometimes can be an amazingly small city. I was on my way home this afternoon after spending hours in Central Park with friends. I made a detour around the lake towards the west side where I was to meet my sister for dinner at Fatty Crab on 77th and Broadway. A striking Pinay, in running attire, was walking to my right....lost in her own world with matching earphones. I looked and almost got a whiplash after I gave her a second look. It's Danica in the flesh!!! I have seen Charo, through the years, like half a dozen times in the city but have never felt the urge to strike up a conversation with her.....but perhaps the wine I've been drinking the whole afternoon made me do it because I stopped the poor girl in the tracks and chatted her up, LOL!! Danica hija, if you're reading this, pasensiya ka na kung medyo natakot ka at bigla kitang kinausap from out of the blue. I was on the phone chatting with a friend so I hurriedly said bye but finished our conversation by telling him Danica Magpantay was standing right in front of me in the park. I think he fell of his chair, LOL!!

She's very pretty in person, skinny with long, lean limbs, soft features and smooth morena skin. She speaks very well and and peppered her answers to my questions with po and opo. I was utterly charmed! Asked about her Teen Vogue shoot, she said that didn't push through because she had to go home for PFW. She also said she loves running around the park.

congrats for meeting her!! she is really intelligent based from the interviews she had her in the philippines. i am kinda sad about the teen vogue shoot but i know God will give her something big!!
