The Sartorialist mentioned recently about taking a timeless picture where you won’t be able to tell in 50 years, when an image was shot. We feel a little like that about Daniel Hicks, an 18 year old from Manchester (Agyness Dean’s hometown) who we can’t believe wasn’t transported through a time machine from the 80’s! What is it about the Mancunians and their efforlessly cool factor?

[Daniel Hicks was first scouted in Glastonbury in England, by D1 models. One shoot into his modelling career, Daniel went missing despite his future line-up of major campaigns and editorials.

A year later, the D1 model scout found Daniel again and immediately took him into the D1 offices. Daniel featured in the first issue of Vogue Homme Japan with Heidi Slimane and Nicola Formichetti, which was shot in Tokyo.
Daniel has also featured in magazine such as Dazed & Confused and Zoo Magazine. He has featured in a Vivienne Westwood Campaign and walked on the runway for Burberry.]
