I hope this is just the usual curse of a Tom Ford appearance (can this man touch anything without screwing it up?!)... I always liked how directional Another Man seemed, uninterested in succumbing to the world of womenswear like most menswear magazines do when they need to increase sales.. and I also liked they way they presented menswear, in such a creative manner that even one, as a woman, felt so inspired by all the garments, textures and the movement captured by such amazing photography that, at least for me, this magazine became one of my few must-buys every season.
Praying for next season..

Lindsey's ed and Tom's cover don't look anything like what I usually love and associate with Another Man. Hopefully we are saving the best for last...

I'm waiting to make a judgement, but the list on the cover sounds pretty interesting to me, and I myself am a Tom Ford fan... some people in here are saying he isn't a good fit for a men's magazine but I don't see why.. he's stylish, smart and multi-talented.

As for the Lindsay shots, it says on the cover that it is a pin-up series by Hedi Slimane... sure these are shots of a young and very hyped fashion girl, but perhaps the point is to channel some of her allure and create a retro and sexy series specifically for a male audience. It's not necessarily selling out in an attempt to be a women's magazine disguised as a male one.

Anyway as I said, we'd all best wait until we can see more before judging it as a failure or disappointment.

I don't like the cover nor the first photo, but the others are pretty good. I think that Tom Ford would be even more attractive if he allowed himself to have a few more character lines.

Absolutely. He's becoming more and more of a caricature of himself. He seems intelligent, and I still love his film "A Single Man" and I still think he's a very talented designer-- although his designs under his own name is rather underwhelming compared to his Gucci days, but the obsession with looking so precious, is so very unattractive; I mean, just look as his extremely manicured beard-- geez... I feel like he would go crazy if a single hair were out of place on his head.

As for what's shown of the reminder of the magazine, kind of underwhelming; you know they've run out of ideas, or simply don't care any longer when they decide to style Lindsey as trailer trash.

First, those horrible Terry pics of James Franco at Vogue Homme. Now these boring pics of Tom at Another Man. Let's hope Arena Homme + comes through...
