So first Lara on Vogue Paris October and then Daphne on november. But what does that 6 monts deal mean? So she only shot bij M&M? Is it safe to say she is the new face of CK or is that all to soon? So they really making her follow Lara Stone. Well then she got a huge career in front of her.

Yes, that was also crossing my minds. It's all going so fast, Ymre was soo huge with a worldwide Prada excl. and a city exl. two mainline campaigns and where is she now? I wonder if it's right for a model to rise so fast.
Also rumour go that Iris Egbers is the new face of CK. But Dutch press isn't always right.

This is a completely different situation than Ymre's. Daphne is more spread out, to say the least. While Ymre was all about Prada, everyone is trying to get a piece of Daphne, including Miu Miu, Givenchy, Calvin Klein. And add an M&M exclusive to that ..
I'm 90% sure she is going to shoot the Givenchy campaign and one of the Calvin Klein campaigns (at least). I'm not saying that she is going to be around in 3 years, but her options seem extremely good.

Just to come back to Ymre, she finished her Havo this year so it's no wonder she spend her last year at high school more at home rather than modelling.
It's not a M&M exclusive? It's a CK exclusive I believe.

Does anyone know when this contract was signed? I've spoke some people, and app. she wasn't booked as a worldwide excl. (so wasn't Iris only Lara was). She was (maybe before this contract) going to Milan for shows cause she already did one casting last saturday in Milan. She is at the moment in Milan but could be for other things. If she is not a excl. on the runway for CK then it's likely she is the new face of CK.

People, it's too early to see how things will turn out wtih Daphne. Yes, these things can be very tricky but I think their people are handling this very well.
Right now she seems to caught the attention of SEVERAL people... so that should mean something! But for now, let's just wait and see...

^Actually she can't be managed right at the moment. She's 15 so there is no way she can quit school to become "the next Lara Stone", she will not be available for shootings and runway work or events and soon photographers will be tired of waiting to shoot with her.
Lara Stone, Daria Werbowy, Sasha Pivovarova, Natasha Poly, Freja, Julia....they were all out of school or close to get out. You can do this exclusive thing a year maybe but that's it. Have any of the young new girls made an impact like Daria did? I don't mean careers with breaks because who knows maybe Ymre et all will eventually become topmodels but it's unlikely (Gemma and Karlie are exceptions maybe).
I just want to prevent some of you from dissapointment because Daphne is not Lara.

^Yes it's true, I know for a fact that she had to be at school on monday for a couple of hours. Like all Dutch girls have to. All the work you miss, you have to do a other time that's why many Dutch girls start their fulltime career after high school or take a step down in their last year so they can make al the exams. But WilhelmF is right, it's to soon to jugde how things will work out. We can only hope for her that they will I'm soo curious if she will walk in Milan!

And again, I just think we're getting ahead trying to predict her future comparing with different exclusives/models when I believe that modelling has taught everyone that everything is not written in stone.
