minstinguett, I'm sorry I guess I didn't explain what I meant very well. What I was trying to say was that I'm amazed that she'd sing live to an audience since I'd gotten the feeling that her singing was very personal to her. So it was suprising to me that she'd put her talent on show like that, what with how she seems like a very private person on top of all that. I also looked up info on the event for you, it looks like the band that was performing, Element 4, asked her to join them on stage so she agreed.

Wow! Even better that it was impromptu! She's so cool!

I would say heavily influenced. She pretty much steals Daphne's style and 90s Madonna, then tweaks it to be more shocking. Fans everywhere believe she is completely original....
