This is kind of Daria's fashion week diary in Russian. Could somebody translate them into English? I'm curious about it.

Каждый год в начале февраля в Нью-Йорке можно наблюдать одну и ту же картину: на улице мороз, люди катаются на коньках, прогуливаются по Пятой авеню в поисках последних распродаж, греются в уютных кафе... И вдруг однажды утром город взрывается энергией. Повсюду музыка, яркие вывески, папарацци. Улицы заполняются сотнями идентичных черных кадиллаков и мерседесов, на каждом углу нарядные fashionistas топчут снег яркими каблуками. Неделя моды пришла!

Пока в шоу-румах кипит работа, в Fashion District тоже не спят, созывают народ: здесь, как горячие пирожки, расходятся подделки, каждая сумка — $ 10.

Люди с опытом Нью-Йоркской недели моды уже ориентируются в городе без списка адресов.

Но в этом сезоне один из дизайнеров решил всех удивить и выбрал очень необычное место. Александр Ванг созвал всех в Бруклин! Весь город ахнул в ужасе и нетерпении. По московским меркам, это все равно что согнать всю модную элиту в Химки! Некоторые вообще никогда не бывали в Бруклине, хотя он и находится всего в 15 минутах от Манхэттена, только через мост переехать.

На пути в неизведанный модной элитой Бруклин, проезжая по знаменитому Бруклинскому мосту, я уже предвкушала что-то невероятное.

She's talking mainly about Alexander Wang show:

Russia’s Daria Strokous - number 6 in the list of the world's top models . For Buro 24/7 Daria will talk about how the world of fashion looks like from the height of the catwalk.

Every year in early February in New York can be seen the same picture : frost on the street , people skating , strolling along 5th Avenue for the latest sales, bask in the cafes ... And then one morning the city explodes with energy. Overall music, bright signs, paparazzi. Streets are filled with hundreds of identical black Cadillacs and Mercedes , on every corner, fashionistas are dressed in bright heels trampling the snow. Fashion Week is here!

While in showrooms are hard at work in the Fashion District is also not sleep , summon people : here like hotcakes diverge forgery , each bag - $ 10. (picture of $10 bags)

But this season, one of the designers decided to surprise everyone and chose a very unusual place . Alexander Wang called all in Brooklyn! The entire city gasped in horror and impatience . By Moscow standards , it's like to drive away all the fashionable elite in Khimki ! Some had never been to Brooklyn , although it is just 15 minutes from Manhattan , just across the bridge.

The most interesting - is to see the whole process of the show. Arriving in the morning to the venue there is a team of builders, organizers, helpers, lighting, all running in circles, noise and cussing – like building an anthill.

And above all the more difficult : the models , makeup artists , hair stylists , organizers, agents , photographers - all pushing, spinning , gossiping . I still do not understand how this chaos there in four hours 50 made-up , coiffed and dressed models , but that was an empty room , turns into a real scene with decorations.

The music is heard , and - fly! On the runway, time stands still . When I'm out in the spotlight, I was no longer cold, shoes are not too tight , head does not hurt . On all sides are thousands of eyes watching us and so did not want to leave . But just a couple of minutes we were behind the scenes, the show is over , we go to change. Yet do not forget that we whitened eyebrows , and now all models are rushing back - again we are in an anthill : models, makeup artists, hair dye , creams , cotton swabs.

We have already finished at 10pm and on the street - all of the hundreds of black Cadillacs and Mercedes , the guests in multicoloured heels crowd on the icy pavement in search of their drivers. Now we have created a kilometer-long traffic jam. (picture of cars in traffic)

We drive to Manhattan with relief , as if we had just arrived from a distant reference. Frolic through all the usual restaurants, native streets and nightclubs , drunk sight , hurrying to share with those who dared to cross the bridge.
