Dark patches at elbows

I am of an olive skintone and I was wondering of anyone knows if ots true that lemon works on the darker skin at the elbows?
Or if not that what does?

it didnt work for me, maybe i didnt know how to do it, care to tell how to apply lemon properly in order to work?

Yes,lemons work indeed.Just apply the juice from the lemon with a cotton ball atleast twice a day,you could leave it on overnight.Make sure you don't expose your elbows to sunlight as lemons will make your skin more sensitive to uv rays.
