I have olive skintones, and I have trouble finding foundations that matches my olive skintone!! Majority of the foundtaion espicially the darker ones are either orange or brown!! I am on the medium and medium dark side, depends on the season. So which company makes foundtions with olive undertones?

I'm not sure but my friend has the same problem. Every foundation just isnt quite the right shade for olive-french skin.

I'm a medium olive (Mac NC45 if that helps to give you an idea).

I've used everything from Neutrogena to Maybelline to Cover Girl to L'Oreal to Benefit and have never had a problem matching shades.
(Yeah I'm also not big on spending loads on the foundation).

Usually I look for things that have really warm undertones that say honey or nude. L'Oreal has that "true match" system which is really nice for finding the perfect shade (depending on if you have warm, cool, or neutral undertones).
I have also heard that Trish McEvoy has great foundations for olive tones, although I have not tried them myself.

I use a foundation that adapts your skin, its from estée lauder.
I think your skin can changes from color from time to time so it would look naturaler if you choose a adapted foundation.
It smells very nice and it's hard to see you have foundation on -> it's very light, it!^_^

i am mac nc 44 (which is a tad darker than my skin tone) and I really suit Chanel powders and foundations. Mac and Bobbi Brown are also great. I would classify myself as being a dark olive complexion and I find the above mentioned work really well for me :)

Foundation for olive toned skin

I looked through the threads and I'm hoping this hasn't been discussed elsewhere! :flower:

I'm searching for a good (preferably dewy) foundation for olive skins-
it's just that a lot of the shades I find are too golden or orange.

My skin is a cool olive tone and I like the foundations I wear to be quite cool, not warm at all. It brings out my eyes B)

Here are some pics of the kind of colour I mean- I'm not really 'dark' but golden shades for white skin don't suit me

Any suggestions would be great, thank you!

i am of a similar colouring that unfortunately, i've yet to find a foundation that's 100% perfect for my skin. however, mixing mac's nw30 and nc25 comes close!

If you have very fair olive skin, I highly recommend looking at this blog: http://www.londonmakeupgirl.com/
I always find it interesting to read about what products she finds that work for her. I'm a tiny bit darker than her, probably closer to the first picture Fiancee posted.
I've been using Chanel's Teint Innocence Compact in #10 on and off for about 5 years, it works quite well for me. It's a bit on the yellow side, but it blends very nicely into the skin.

Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation in 120 is good for medium-light olive tones. It's a bit to dark for me so usually I can get away with lightening it with 117 (the lightest yellow base).

I also really like the red correctors that Cinema Secrets has. They are perfect for olive tones, especially for those of use with really pale skin who are also olive.

This is really late, but nevertheless try Everyday Minerals "Butter Tan" or "Golden Medium." The Semi-Matte formula creates the dewy look you're looking for.
