Hmmm, i don't buy this whole style icon thing. I'd say most of the time he looks average at best.

Well, I like David Beckham pretty much because he isn't a bad role model for kids like Rooney. He has a good attitude in life, he is positive, he isnt an attention wh*re by using bad behaviour, he doesn't dress like a slob, he is very polite and he has a good work ethic. Its good for children to look up to somebody who behaves well and has nice manners, and keeps themselves neat and tidy. I don't fancy him though, especially because his voice is too high,

its true though i dont think that if someone saw and ugly man dressed in the same outfit as beckham would be considered fashionable he is hot you have to admit and that helps him pull off a fashionable look

My god, I know! What the hell is the friggin appeal of this guy? He's not hot, not by my standards at least. I'm not saying he's ugly but jesus why do so many people swoon over him? And his style (or lack thereof) is so pretentious....all he does is take the runway looks from Dolce and Gabbana and wear them, which isn't his style it's Dolce and Gabbana's style.

I just don't get it, he's so generic in the looks dept...I mean, blonde hair and pretty face, that's unique. David, leave the Brad Pitt look to it's namesake cause pretty boy isn't working for you.

That statement is very well said. Style isn't about sweeping Dolce's store or buying the whole Dior Homme collection, personal flair and the attitude with which you carry your clothes goes a long way! A lot of people, celebs or otherwise, seem to have forgotten this and mistake style for simply throwing labels on your body.

Quiet honestly, I'm quite baffled that Jude Law and Beckham actually are regarded as Sexy, Well Dressed or Attractive. Mr Law gives the term 'Stiff' a name, brand and face. Beckham is just that and nothing more. They need to add something more to the mix than just the goods that God gave them. I'm sick of people dressing up, being all glorious, and then when you talk to them, they seem to be three drunk men from Birmingham. (sorry for the nuisance, bad date!)

Maybe it would be more accurate to call him "the best undressed"....who cares what he's wearing, have you seen that body? As far as Jude Law is concerned I don't get it either. At least Beckham has a hot body.

The English Premier League has 20 teams. Each team has atleast three different squads (approx 15 x 3). I'd see that atleast 90% of these men are just as fit, physically, as Beckham viz he's probably one in a thousand so uh uh
