The world-famous UK football star who is now playing for Real Madrid, has been known as one of the best dressed men in the world and used to be the fashion icon not only for football fans. Yet, men•s fashion bible GQ, has its own opinion.

Despite other magazines' publishing surveys and putting Beckham to the top position in the “best dressed” category for the last two years, the editor Dylan Jones has this time slammed the football player saying

“…Beckham has become the personification of chav. There’s a sad nouveau riche element to they way he dresses”. Another famous British David Williams said:” He does not have style, he has a lot of new clothes.”

The second position in the “worst dressed” list belongs to TV and radio pundit Jonathan Ross, due to his weird choice of clothes and wacky suits. Numbers 7 and 8 were given to Simon Cowell for the high waisted trousers and Robbie Williams for his gay look.

I admit his Style really got very boring after he cheated Victoria...hm...it`s known that she was the one one who dressed him up - was she like "I`m not dressing you up any more so you`re no longer attractive to other women!" ???

i must disagree with this, although beckham's choice of clothing is adventurous at times. (isn't that a good thing in fashion? to explore new things?) and i couldn't agree more that victoria is the one who dresses him up.

beckham is one fine man, with his own sense of fashion and can bring a trend everywhere in the world

To me he's one of coolest dressers + his hair is almost always good. He really is an dress icon to me. I'm not really in to really exceptional ultra hip things, but more in the nice basic/casual things and to me has that kind of style which really helps me in my own style.

I don't see what's so terriblle at his style, his style to me is much better than alot of other famous guys who get discussed here who just wear weird clothes and that get's praise as great and different. While Beckham mostly dresses clean and acceptable.

He does have good style though. Albeit a little Metro, but good none the less!
