Mollie King Says She Didn't Know David Gandy Was Famous

She didn't recognise model when they first met...


The Saturdays singer Mollie King had "no idea" current beau David Gandy was a top model when they first met, she has revealed.
In an interview with Company the pop star said she had been introduced to the hunk by a friend a few months ago but admitted: "When I first met him I had no idea who he was, which is probably a good thing otherwise I'd have got all starstruck!"
She went on to desribe dating in the public eye "weird", saying: "I dont want to have to constantly wear make-up for him, or for him to have to worry about looking after me around hordes of photographers."
Despite the pressures of mutual fame though, she insists their relationsip is very ordinary. "We don't sit and talk about work", she said. "It sounds cliched but we just do normal things like watch movies or go for breakfast."
King, whose band The Saturdays shot to fame after supporting Girls Aloud on tour also spoke of her admiration for Cheryl Cole, saying her ambition is to win a spot on the X Factor judging panel like her idol.
