David Gandy Is JLo's "First Love"
DAVID GANDY is set to play Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend in her new music video for single First Love, from new album AKA.
"I can't be too specific about the video at this point as it's not out yet, but I play her love interest," Gandy told us today. "I've been asked if I'd take part in music videos before and I've always said no, but I jumped at the chance of working with a music icon such as Jennifer. The conditions to shoot in were very challenging due to the weather - we were in the desert outside LA and the winds were incredibly strong and we had to deal with plummeting temperatures and sand storms - but the atmosphere on set was great and we all had a lot of fun."
The video will premiere later this month, and calls on Gandy's Dolce & Gabbana modelling talents as much as his developing acting skills.
"He's a great guy and we had such a great time making the video," Lopez said. "He may have been shirtless occasionally, but for the most part he had clothes on!"
Following appearances in several short films - including Bionda Castana's David Gandy's Goodnight and Away We Stay with Helena Christensen, Gandy is moving more and more towards a film career. But his next project is still strictly under wraps.
"I have the largest project of my career happening later this year," he revealed. "I can't say much at the moment, but we are working heavily on that right now."
