I really like the awkwardness and humour in Sims' work, although his Trentini + Vogue US work can get a little boring.

agreed but each magazine wants something specifically and each magazine has a look and an audience they are trying to target. so it's not all davids fault since he's asked to do something of the sort.

I feel that Sims has lost much of his original grunge style which he was known for, in his recent works, which was a pity, actually.
