In terms of randomness; It reminds of that cover i-D did a few years ago, with the unknown really young Brazilian surfer on the front.

but it's truly unexpected to have Toscani on a D&C cover, non ?

fashion doesn't have to mean designer garments, these pictures are pretty fashion-inspirational (and very westwood, especially if you read the interview with her in the aggy-issue of i-D)

I agree, I personally love it when fashion wanders slightly away from conventional covers and gets more conceptual.. I find that a lot more inspiring than last month's pretty girl in a prettier dress.. not saying this is an outstanding cover but I like the simplicity of it.. and the eco theme done by kids, who are the ones who'll probably go through the longest struggle when it comes to global warming.. hopefully, being mid june-july the time this will hit newstands, it will make one or two people reflect a bit on the subject.

I agree that it is very unexpected to have Toscani photographing a D&C cover & edit! I've always adored his work for Benetton. I love this...the colors are beautiful & the idea of using children to illustrate global eco awareness is beautiful...Gorgeous styling as always by Nicola

Can't wait to see more...
