Wow, Dazed serving us way more and better fashion than Vogue. What a great issue, such a solid offering.

All is good, but, as per usual, Leslie Zhang is great, and Carlijn Jacobs is the best. Her photography is so good, so chic and nonchalant, truly is going to be a new master if she doesn’t disappear like Harley Weir or Petra Collins. Her visual is so strong, she is the only one with Leslie who give me hope for the new generation of photographers.

Thank you very much for posting the content aracic. This is encouraging; definitely a big improvement in quality of content overall. I really enjoyed Dazed circa 2010 - 2012 in particular, so it would be good to see it move back towards more focused and stream-lined (fashion) content.

Ib has definitely surrounded himself with the cream of the new crop of photographers, although I can do without Hugo Comte these days. Suddenly I don't care anymore about his work, and the models in his photos always look like they've just broken out into a cold sweat - gross. Additionally, as much of a fan as I am of Pavarotti's work, I'm not enjoying his contributions here. I think Ib's work can still too often come off as really costumey and this is particularly the case when they work together. This is why I think that all stylists really need some kind of training in more commercial fields as it were, be it US Vogue or Gap. It really gets them to focus on the wearability of what they're doing and ultimately makes the subsequent work stronger.

Oh, and I just came across the inspiration for Rafael's cover today...

A messy visual overload. Just too much of everything, and pretentious on top of it all.
Not sure what people are raving about here.

This is a must have for me. Wow, what a debut Ibrahima, everything just work together so well. So much better VI.

But that being said, IK need to be more versatile if he want to keep the reader invest in the magazine in the long run. His ed is good but it's really similar to VH. Same with Comte and EJG their editorials are good but very similar with their works for other magazines (Meisel is very versatile guys, look it up :brows:).

I also really like "Move It" and "Meet Outdoors". A really coherent and great issue.

LOL. This issue could have been shot by only one of the 15 photographers that they have used and it would still be looking exactly the same.

This is much better than all the Vogues eds I've seen so far this year. No joke.

Amazing issue!
